Yes shez they've decided I'm a hopeless case and registered me disabled I have my blue badge and DLA but it was by chance I found out about the bus passes as I was looking for stuff for my dad so I thought if I can have it I will
still no joy with the school yet as I can't get through to speak to anyone I'm going to give it one more try then I'm going to tell them that seeing as it doesn't look like they are doing anything I will phone the police and report the assault as that is what it is and ds2 has a nice bruise on the side of his forehead now

  • Furrypig - Thank you :)

OH's up in Glasgow 2/3 days a week, he stays at the Marriott on Argyle St usually. He's also gets 1st class on the train there and back - get him! lol

I've been up there with him once before but only for one night. We'll go next Tues morning and come home Thurs night this time. We'll take the car (he gets mileage) to save buying an extra train ticket. I had a lovely day last time wandering around the shops, having coffee in cafes and just watching the world go by, its a nice place. Hope you'll get to have a looky round when you go up there!

    Take care

    Hi all
I've finally spoken to ds2's head of year the boy concerned has an hours detention with the head of year tomorrow which is a serious punishment he has spoken to the boy's parents and if he put's a foot wrong again he will either be excluded internally which means he is on his own all the time with just a supervisor or they will exclude him from school completely so the boy has been dealt with and the head of year hasn't dismissed getting the schools police liason officer involved
so at least something was done and ds2 and I are pleased he has been dealt with

    Afternoon all,

Very cold this morning here but a nice sunny afternoon now...have put some towels on the line as there is a nice breeze and it makes such a difference I feel.

Having steak, mushrooms and chips for dinner to-night, courtesy of DD2...I don't take any money while she and babies are here so every now and then she does something like this, in addition to buying the cereals, cheese, ham etc that she and DGD1 like...I would certainly not have bought as much or paid the price for sirloin steak....€22 something...I nearly had a stroke and its not my money!

Feeling ok to-day, I am reducing the antidepressants on doctor's instructions and found yesterday a little difficult...staying up until 2am to collect DB on his return from Sardinia didn't help as he should have been in at 10.15 and LOVELY air traffic controllers at Dublin airport were (are?) on a go slow.

Smoky...thinking of and praying for you and your family ...hope that OH has turned the corner at this stage. Hugs to anyone who is not feeling well or has trouble at present.

    Afternoon all.

Well, after Sundays suspician of an abscess, I was right. Managed to get an emergency dental appt yesterday morning and have some antibiotics now. also an appointment for root canal work at the end of april...

Got to work yesterday at 12.30, and left again at four becauise I felt rotten from the tablets. Went in as normal this morning, and came home again at 12. Hope I manage a full day tomorrow! I wouldn't mind, but its my last week with the team. We are going out for drinks on Thurs, and I'm off for a meal on Friday for my Birthday and new job, and guess who can't drink alcohol coz of the tablets!!!

DH is tidying up downstairs - he's realised my family will be calling in on Friday, so he'd best get started on it now!

Sausage Casserole in the slow cooker for tea, and I ought to put the BM on too. Does anyone else have a problem with their Panasonic 'Home Bakery' where the tops of the loaves end up concave? Its only recently started doing it, so we are a bit confused. Can't afford a new BM, thats for sure!!

Hugs to any who want or need them,

    Metherer
Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.
