hope you are ok, pls let us know even if you just say hi. I really feel for you we are all here to help even if you just want to chat, i know it helps me, i think you should get back to your doctor to get some help. I did this 9 yrs ago, mental abuse turned physical got some anti ds and they were a great help, packed my bags and left, you may not want to do anything so drastic but the ant ds help can help you face the day.

if you don't want to talk publicly pm someone please xxx

Just wanted to send you a virtual hug.

I really hope you have managed to see a doctor or had a chance to talk to somebody.

You are driving yourself into the ground and need help even more than you think DH does.

You matter and you deserve better.

hi Louise I was told about this thread by one of my friends on here.Yes real friends whatever your DH may say. In some ways we have similar situations. My DH is a teacher who contracted meningitis very suddenly, as a result things were turned arround in an instant. our "normal "life went out of the window to be replaced by endless rounds of hospital visits he then developed CFS with very serious conciquences. More hospitals, more tests, you don't need me to spell it out.Anyway I was so lonley and didn't have any to talk to(at that time it was the meningitis helpline and stuff like that) but talking helps. We still have our ups and downs but sharing things really helped me. I know exactly what you mean about putting on a face for the world on. I think its a coping mechanism initially, but it can become a habit and you then become almost trapped. However sweetie and please don't take this the wrong way I think there are more issues lurking under the surface. My DH has not been involved with the debt reduction letters etc since he took ill but he knows about them and of course the money he earns goes towards paying them. I did this to avoid putting more pressure on him whilst he was ill,it is still a struggle as head teachers won't touch him wiht a barge pole so we rely on supply work which can be patchy. I know my DH was very scared when he went back to work .Perhaps you DH feels the same wau? BUT......(Sorry HAVE to say this) you seem a little scared of him there is a huge difference between CHOSING to not say something during illness and being AFRAID to do so. PLEASE keep posting, PLEASE speak to your GP, PLEASE take time to think about what you would like ideally. YOU MATTER. If it in any way helps you please feel free to PM me. I will gladly give you a contact number and if it helps you chan have a chat to me(I am a bit boring though!) PLEASE try to look after yourself.I don't know if you and your DH have a future but you deserve some rest and respite. I am sure things seem very bleak but things change honestly. You need to look after yourself you have done so well and we are all here for you. Honestly.
