Just wanted to reiterate what other people have said - change your phone number asap, you don't have to put up with that sort of harassment and thats the quickest way to deal with it. One other thing - I added up the debts and leaving aside the student loan they come to just under £5k - I don't spose anyone has issued a court claim against you? The reason I am asking is if they have then you could apply for an Administration Order which is a brilliant way of dealing with these debts - if so check out National Debtline's website or give them a call fo some more information. They will anyway advise you on your rights which can be very empowering. If no claim has been issued - then maybe you could just change your number and ignore them and see what they do? These people get their payments by bullying people as they are doing with you - legally there is very little they can do if you cannot pay..the most stressful aspect is fear of what can happen which in reality is very little.

So sorry you are having such a hard time.

I am sorry that I have not posted. I have been to the hospital with dh and been trying to catch up on some work. I will answer everything tomorrow. Just wanted to say a huge thank you. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning. Thank you for your help.

Your title of the thread says it all. You're worn out. There is only so much you can do and having extra worries on top is going to take its toll no matter how much you try to adapt.

Hopefully hubby will be able to see how hard things are for you if he is fielding some of those calls now - does he know about the board or are you just left to sort it all out? We're here to offer as much advice and support as we can give, but you can't be expected to do this on your own. You're in a partnership. It may even make hubby feel a bit better knowing that there are possible solutions to some of the problems rather than throwing everything onto you.

Hope both you and hubby feel better soon.

Well today is not shaping up too well. Went to see GP (which wasn't easy to be honest) only to find when I got there she was not able to attend as her son was poorly(Not a problem her children SHOULD come first please dont think I am moaning) anywya I saw the locum who wasn't listening at all(I DID try) he was talking about my IBS and said that it was understandable to "be a bit low" (I have IBS -severe but under control - was hospitalised a couple of years ago when they suspected something nasty) So no progress. However the receptionist has offered me an appointment(we normally have to ring after 4pm or on the day we need an appointment) for Monday when she will be back.
Have just had a text from Husband saying he is comming back shortly(he has been for a walk) so I willl answer some points now and the rest later. boredofbeingathome. Yes it seems he has permently quit his job. Yes he COULD get leave but he hasn't done that.

am getting jittery so will post later. Suffice to say he KNOWS that I come on here. He says things like going to play with your saddo mates again? There was a bit of a problem last night(will explain later)re being on here. Mind you he didn't think it was sad when I got over 2grand of his bank charges refunded though. He also thinks I am pathetic for having a "nerd number", going to "parties", trying to get to meets and considering folks on here friends. Am sat typing this twisted round so that I can look out of the window so I know when he gets back. Thank you for all your support. I will answer everyone when I can and am trying to sort things out. A lot of what you have said could also be true for me.
I also get the stupid comments about parties and saddo mates.
I have decided I will just ignore him.
