Ideas for card craft beginner

Mary - QVC normally have their card making on on Tues 2-4. That's the regular spot but they sometimes have it on other days. On Friday its a friendly but its only on the LFC channel, you have to subscribe to setanta sports to get this. There's another friendly on Tues but that's on setanta, so unless you've got setanta he won't be able to watch them. Is this good news?

Thanks melissa - I'd have to get OH to tune in the tele for me.......havent a clue with this freeview box, nor the video/dvd player.........so many remotes...........lol
setanta.........umm.......not heard of that. If it can be got via Sky he'll be off to the pub..............:mad: (Maybe I'll not mention it just in case.............lol)
Right........off to grab my bit of sofa now and butter him up a bit about tuning tele in for me tomorrow.............lol

Hi guys, haven't posted much lately again but have been nosying back on the thread as always. My order arrived from Artymiss yesterday so hopefully my toppers from ebay will arrive this morning and I can make 2 new baby cards for friends. Will post back later, hopefully with pics, but it may be me posting back screaming cause of how rubbish they will look lol

Yes great cards mumoftwo - I love the embossed card on the "thank you" card, the heart is really pretty too. Love the colours on the "get well soon" card, those flowers seem really popular at the minute, (note to self: must get some).

Not sure if I'll have the time to try an ATC this week, sorry - would love to have a go though! I've got my first proper card making work - 75 embellishments to go onto Orders of Service. It involves wrapping squares of card in mulberry paper, wrapping thin wire around the square several times and sticking a metal shape on top of the wire. They look lovely when done but quite a lot of work for each & are fiddly - and there's 75 to do, eeeek :eek:Will I rise to the challenge? I'll keep you posted
