for the free style challenge I made a few cards. 3 for xmas and one birthday one. Hope you like. i dont know if I will get time to do this weeks challenge (I will try) but look forward to seeing all the wonderful creations

I would just like to tell you about my butterfly card as I was really impressed with the effect I got. Polly came to my house one night to do some heat embossing. She brought all her new colours of powders with her. I stamped the butterfly and then (very very careful not to knock any over) I sprinkled a small amount with my fingers of each colour so not to waste any and sort of threw it on randomly. I then heated it up and got a wonderful shiny multicoloured butterfly and not much excess powder left either. I then backed the buterfly on pink paper which I mounted on glitter vellum on an apature card.

Great cards abusybee. I love the ribbon on the xmas ones and the butterfly one is lovely! I like the paper that you used on the peel off one too!
Mary43 - you get QVC if you have sky or freeview.

lovely cards busy bee! tbh i haven't had much crafting time this week. also finding sometimes now i have too much selection of bits to get inspiration :rotfl: as silly as that sounds!!! hope to do get an atc done this week though

I agree toniwoty sometimes I don't know what to start on first - so I do nothing. Also OH has sent his xbox off to be fixed, so he is bored and he wants to spend "time with me" so I haven't done much other than get stuff out and look at it. He's off to the Liverpool game on Friday so I'll have a few hours then.

melissa - we've got freeview..........oh lor, daren't start watching QVC -OH will leave home....................lol and anyway, teles in the front room so I'd have to shift my bum from my chair here............lol
Didn't know Liverpool were playing on Friday...........oh dear.......does that mean OH will either have to watch it at the pub if its on Sky or my tele progs will be mucked up on normal tele ? (Maybe he doesn't know.........!!)
