Hello gorgeous peeps & welcome to the new people!

Ah, bit of sunshine this morning, that's what I like to see :D

Vix, how are you feeling today? If the same little problems keep cropping up please do go to you GP for some advice won't you?

Kymbrob congrats on the HUGE 5lb loss! What a great feeling it is when we go down into the next stone :D Great effort.

Lilmissmup, well done on staying the same - as you have increased the exercise too that is just as good as a loss! It will pay off - muscle helps you burn calories, so you're setting your body up to work nice and efficiently for the rest of your diet. Are you also eating enough to get you through all your exercise? I have a DVD "Total abs" which I do on occasion but the best thing I've found for stomach flattening is my rowing action abs exerciser - only cost £9.99 and works a treat. As for joining a gym, do you have any local council ones near you that you could maybe try "pay as you go" for a couple of months first and see if you think you'd use a proper membership?

FFM - haha - was it my disastrous holiday gain that made you have your dream?! :rotfl: Please keep posting your calorie averages, I'm really interested in how much you increase/reduce in order to stay the same. If I need to lose I go straight back to my diet rate of 1200/day and then I increase by 100/day each week from there if the weight continues to come off. I don't know if this is the best method?

I feel so bloated and horrible today (TOTM), not feeling any benefit from being as good as I have done this week. I was hoping to see a big difference in weigh in tomorrow, but I think it might take another week to repair most of the damage :p

Petrichor, of course you're capable of running the race for life! You probably walk double that distance every day and I bet it wouldn't take much training for you to run it. Maybe we will see those flying pigs sometime ;)

Starlight, if you're sad so are a lot of the rest of us ;)

G30RG3, another vote here for saving your money... 20lb in 10 days is a radical loss and as you say you're not fat anyway, it could be dangerous for you especially at your young age. Healthy eating and moderate exercise is far better for you than gaining weight and then doing crash diets. Please do keep posting if you have any questions that we might be able to help with, you'll get good advice here. :D

G3ORG3: Hello, first of all keep youre money saved up, you will always want a top and that is far more important :p Secondly, you are only 12 years of age. When i was youre age i was a bit porky and i used to diet, excersise and just feel awful most of the time. I got bullied about my weight, i felt like everyone was looking and judging me. The last thing i ever thought of, was that everyone else at school feels exactly the same. They all think they look minging and fat. Youre friends probably go to bed at night and think, i wish i looked like G3org3. I can tel by the way you are talking that youre not fat at all, i bet youre very skinny and are just becoming more aware of your body. At 12, you got alot of changing ahead of you. Periods if you havent already started and boobs and hips and hair, youre weight will flucturate too. Just make sure you eat healthy and stay active, thats all you need to worry about right now. I hope i didnt sound like your mum or someone ha.

Missyg: Feeling better thanks. I am going to the doctors which i keep saying but i am!

littlemismup: more motivated than i am! Hope to go out for a walk later but i bet i dont :p
  • Vix, I think George is a boy, if you read his 'blog' on the link in his sig.

George, my advice to you (bearing in mind your age) is to cut out snacks etc and do more exercise - walking, football, cycling etc, things that 12 year olds should enjoy. You will find that you will soon 'grow into' your current weight. Unless seriously over weight, which it sounds as if you are not, you should not try to lose weight, just wait for your height to catch up. IYSWIM.

Maybe it was :rotfl: , I know I was worrying having consumed all the chocolate last weekend - but just didn't think I was that concerned.

As you know I am a serial weigher, on and off the scales morning and night, this morning I had lost a further 0.8lbs - I won't be counting it as my 'official weigh in' is the Saturday morning one. I know what caused it - nature calls and all that...

My last few weekly averages per day and weekly weight losses are as follows:

    1575 (0.4)
    1610 (0.4)
    1660 (0.2)
    1645 (0.4)
    1955 (0.2)

I'll try to remember to post them, remind me if I forget.

Hi MissyG, i think i am eating enough, eating 3 meals a day and trying to avoid snacking, thinking i should feel a little bit more hungry than i am though!

Just been to tesco express and managed to not cave in and buy any chocolate, just brought the intended bread, milk and some salad for lunch this week at work and treated myself to 2 cheese and onion rolls (like sausage rolls). I looked at the calories for a chocolate brownie and it was 360  for my roll it was 205 each so went for that!

Just had 1 with a cheese and ham sandwich

Can't help but looking at the calories on everything now. Although doesn't always mean i don't buy it. :o

Ooh thanks FFM! I like numbers :D Obvious questions is, how come you were losing at 1955 a few weeks ago but then decided to go down to the 1600s (which looks like the right choice in hindsight anyway, just wondered what made you cut 300/day that week)?

    My latest ones pre-holiday were:
    1144 / 3.25 loss
    1509 / 1.00 loss
    1265 / 1.25 loss
    1446 / 1.00 gain
    1260 / 1.00 gain
A right mixed bag I'm sure you'll agree :rotfl: I'd love to get mine as consistant as yours. This week I'm going to come in at about 1178/day (if I stay away from the toffees this afternoon), and weigh in is tomorrow.

Lilmissmup, I'm always comparing calories on stuff :o don't forget to consider the other nutritional values too though, a higher cal natural food will be better for you than a low cal bit of processed junk as I'm sure you know :D Sounds like you are doing great and you're obviously very motivated!
  • Missyg, the numbers are the other way up. The 1955 was last week when I ate all the Easter Goodies. I was just lucky I guess that there was no damage done - but I shan't be making a habit of it.

    1575 (0.4) w/e 1st March
    1610 (0.4) w/e 8th March
    1660 (0.2) w/e 15th March
    1645 (0.4) w/e 22nd March
    1955 (0.2) w/e 29th March

I like analysing numbers too, which is why the grocery challenge really suits me - I'm saving buckets loads of money :D

Did you know that harold bishop was adopted, and he was the result of a peadophile rape? His mother is only 14 years older than himself. Just watched a clip on it on the facebook site for the wright stuff programme. Well sad.
