    Hey everyone!

Had the day off today. Kinda had a half naughty one, but ive never taken a day off ill in over 2 years so i think im allowed one. Im probably owed it!

Went shopping, i spent £2! my boyfriend bought some jeans, a cardigan and a hoodie. He looked so hot today, hes got a bit of a tanned face now with going out on the beat all the time. Kinda weird for this time of the year, either that or hes putting self tan on his face!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Im feeling better now, although loosing an hour in bed isnt going to impress me much!

    see ya later people

    LOL.

That tanning comment made me laugh!

I am trying to be in a better mood tonight than i was this morning, gonna get up nice and early and do one of my workout dvds and aim to do that another 3 mornings before work this week as on later shift so should be able to haul myself out of bed about 7am to do it. Going to maybe do the bike 1 or 2 nights too just to keep my legs toned.

I will lose some weight next week!!! I have lost 9lbs so far this year which is good i know but holiday in 9 weeks and a friends wedding in 6 so desperate to lose some more!

My friend wants to join the gym and i do kinda but money is tight so not sure plus we work very different hours and i don't drive and the one she wants to join isn't near me so not sure it would be worth it for me.

bb ,bails so glad the meet went well and you are both normal people:rotfl: :rotfl: at least for when we all meet up there will be no surprises:rotfl: :rotfl:

I have noticed, I have started picking, stopped doing that for many many months and now every so often catch myself open the fridge and pick at food or while dinner is cooking or in between times rather than waiting for the next meal, have to stop that immediately, no picking allowed;) :D

Hi all, vixarooni, glad you enjoyed your day off, it's fun to be naughty once in a while:D .

lillmiss, 9 lbs is great, now you know you can do it, just gotta keep your mind off the bad stuff. Dunno about the gym, doesn't sound worth it, how often would you be able to get there, might be better things to spend the cash on if you can't really use it. I tried my local authority one first (payg) and found I rarely get round to going, but only cost £15 plus the odd £3 when I go. Gyms can be pricey!!!!!!

Victory, picking is evil stuff, undoes all my healthy meals here, and carrot sticks--love em, nice idea, but effort--when I want a quick snack:rolleyes: . Having a drink of water nearby helps me though (i think it's the distraction, I have a drink then forget the snack...scatty, MOI? :rotfl: ). Anyway good luck finding a solution.

Starlight, if it works for you, who cares, go for it and enjoy, :A

G3ORG3 Up to you, but there are so many of those weight loss miracles around, I guess if they worked we'd all be thin, I'd keep your hard saved cash if I were you, find some fun stuff to do (does your local area have kids gym sessions? or is there other stuff going on where you live? Something you can do with a friend or alone?), see if you can make your diet a little bit better, and just enjoy life.

No! No! No! Those sort of sites are just an easy means of taking money from the gullible. Keep your money in your savings account, please! I realise that 12 yr olds are very image conscious, but please be careful so that you don't develop any eating disorders, a seemingly common problem these days. Can your mother give you any guidance? I personally would suggest that you give up eating any unnecessary snacks and only have healthy ones if you need to. Get more active, even if it's just walking more, it's surprising what just a bit of extra exercise can do for you. Don't set yourself a weight loss target, you have a lot of growing to do especially in the next few years, and I bet you'll soon grow out of what little extra weight you seem to have at the moment.

Do take care, just get out there and enjoy yourself; try and get into the habit of finding healthy ways of eating as those are the sorts of habits that you want with you for the rest of your life.

    Good luck.

ps There are a lot of concerned mothers/teachers on this thread, so do as you're told :D
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
