OK I should add please everyone don't think I'm a total wuss who stays inside at the merest hint of wind and rain :rotfl: I could give lots of examples of stuff we DO still do outdoors, it's just that fair weather opens up so many more possibilities and I do enjoy outdoor life a lot more in the summer - that's just how it is with me! Yes, I know I live in the wrong country0

i didn't look at the comments cos i knew some of them would be nasty. Thanks for the concerns peeps, but things are good - he even cancelled a weekend away so we could spend some time together which was quite the surprise. I still have way too much on my plate - do keep trying with the dancing, but started getting that shinsplints thing which made me ease off a bit. Also found that letting the housekeeping and the ironing go a bit was the best way to be back in control!
Nuttygirl, you do sound quite the madness fan! Suggs isn't being rude in not replying, he is on his holidays. I went to see the man in the mad suit tour years back and loved it!0 -
Evening all
Another 15 miles on my bike tonight which totals 65 in last 4 days :j
Managed not to eat any biscuits all week at work and only had 1 blip which was a flapjack bar (which was the tiniest thing ever and 165 calories ) and the garlic bread.
Weigh in tomorrow, am quite excited about it as i have really got back into my diet this week, salad every day for lunch and lots of exercise, hoping i will not be disappointed, would love to be in the double figures rangeNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Mr BB would like to advise you all that I am definitely 100% natural woman:)Missyg -yaay - when you know you are coming down to B, def get in touch. Big welcomes to more newbies -pennypp and nuttygirl. Join in as much as you can and get to know us for maximum benefit. We are really supportive and do have fun too. I'm another of the 'maintainers' and have been for 2 months and it is definitely it's very own learming curve and kind of different to the actual weightloss jouney. Many times I've thought, 'this is it, the start of it creeping back on', but I find I allow myself flexibily to have treats and return to plan (I follow slimming world) if I put a few lbs on and it works! So I slide up and down the same 3 lbs and that to me seems normal and doable. I eat well on slimming world and don't feel deprived. I also naturally stopped my weight loss at a level I felt was sustainable with my life style and and am very happy to be a size 14 (starting size 18 - 20). That way I am not enlessly striving for the unsustainable and setting my self up for disappointment and failure. My BMI is under 25 now and me and my dr are well happy. The support on this forum was and is fundamental to my sucess.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Evening all.
I missed dancing tonight because of my sodding bowles grr. Got work tomorrow and im not excited about that in the slightest!
Brighton seems to be everywhere at the mo. Two of my friends are going/have been since ive been cos i said it was really good. I should work for the brighton tourist board! Im going back to get my pots in a week or two's time so i'll be spending more money no doubt!
Im going to go to bed now, well tired. hacked off but i dunno what with. Bizarre.
Have a good weekend everyone!0 -
Sorry to hear how you are feeling Vix - it is probably a mix of tummy troubles, and then the last few months of uni. I do remember the feeling of almost desparation to move on but knowing you've to slog on seemingly for ever. It just is a tough time. Kpc, glad things are ok now. Hey, Jtb: I shall wave at you as I pass Littlehampton tomorrw - I'm going over to my parents in Chichester for the weekend: cue fatted calf from mum and a detailed, prolonged breakdown of the news headlines from Dad. (BTW Brighton is in East Sussex jtb, but what's a compass direction between sussexites:)) Nuttygirl - one of my most fav songs is 'It must be Love' by madness. I feel as though there are loads of posts I haven't acknowledged but I'm really tired now and need to get to bed. It is lovely to have lots of new peeps around and hear good stories of good starts and lots of exercise going on for some - Raphael, I so remember the first time I got into a size 14 again - I didn't really believe it but by the time I fitted the 3rd pair I had believe it was true. Goood feeling eh. Looking forward to your 'results' next week. Have a good weekend all xxI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
