Little bit disappointed as just weighed and lost 0lbs this week, still 8stone 12 3/4 lbs

Been eating quite good too :(

Now i know the exercise bike is doing wonders for my legs they are so much more toned but the fat is turning into muscle so not losing anything!

Its doing nothing for my stomach which is still there staring at me.... think going to have to drop the bike for a while start concentrating on doing a dvd and exercises for my stomach....anyone got any tips or exercise/dvds they find good?
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month
  • Congrats on your loss kymrob - well done :T

Don't worry about the lack of weight loss lilmissmup, it's better to tone up than just lose weight. My downfall is lack of exercise, I would love to tone my legs they are the only bit I am not happy with now - I think they ressemble tree trunks - but they have always been the most 'solid part' of me - so skinny top and a solid base!!! At least I won't fall over in a strong wind.

FFM, I think you're doing fine, you should be able to give yourself some flexibility now and then and enjoy it! If a bit of weight goes on, you know how to lose it quickly enough. I sympathise about the pressure to prove you're eating... I have to deal with that too

Thanks for the vote of confidence missyg, I had my weigh in today and will be reporting a 1lb weight loss this week - it wasn't a whole pound because my scales measure in 0.2lbs but it has tipped the balance to the next lb off - if you see what I mean. Effectively, my STS and 1lb losses have been made up of losses of 0.2, 0.4's etc But I prefer to work in whole pounds.

Although I had a bad 5 days this week over the Easter Weekend, I pulled back on the last 2 days and my average calorie intake per day worked out at 1955, prior to that I had increased gradually to 1645 average per day.

So, I think I may increase a little bit more and see if I STS.

This has really been playing on my mind, I had a dream last night that I put on 12lb last week - or should I say nightmare  How funny is that? :rotfl:

    Hiya guys,

I've been a bad little dellybelly this week and been totally off the rails - but got my life back with my friends which more than makes up for the massive 3lb gain I had on wednesday morning (drinking session on Monday night combinded with TOTM).... restarting on Monday as I'm going out for a friend's birthday tonight and don't want to be the boring one who's not taking part because of a useless HE plan.....

Hope you're all well. Well done on the 5lbs off kymrob and welcome to the new posters - stick with us and feel free to join in the chat at any time. It might seem that we're dead cliquey but I promise we're not.....

Here's a little something to make you smile... I know someone who'll do anything for a piece of liquorice....

Delly - you're so right friends do make up for the gain ...just not every week lol!

I managed to maintain this week despite the attempted sabotage by the mother in law and her delicious cooking!

Just had a fanastic dinner, Oven cooked sea bass with ginger garlic and satsuma juice!
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j
