Morning grannnynise - only 1lb lost at last night's weigh-in please.
Disappointing yes, but mostly surprising - don't know how/why so little, after last week's 5lb, but will persist.
Have had a hard time getting through the required 20 points daily(have stuck on 9-13 range by natural preference on food) although fewer after last night - dropped to the stone below.
    No easter eggs or similar.
Gym/swim assessment and first session yesterday, too - so can start regaining pre-injury mobility, and more I hope.
Good luck to all this week.

don't be disappointed!! the week after losing a large amount like 5lb is always the hardest...mainly because (given by a lot of the posts I see here) a repeat loss of the same magnitude never happens (at least not in the consecetive week)... Your body is probably trying to even out. It can be disappointing but persevere and you'll soon find out what your natural weight-loss per week is. 1-2lb a week is the going rate for most and whilst its frustratingly slow it is a nice sustainable rate

Morning everyone! Have been very good since returning from hol, averaged 1206 cals for each of the 3 days. I've been eating 3 times a day at set times, no snacking, just trying to get my body back in a proper routine.

I am treating myself to a full body massage today, think my body deserves it after all that crazy skiing!

This will probably sound incredibly nasty, but does anyone else think she'd look even better if she lost a couple of stone?

    Virago

Better for whom though virago? 'Looking good ' is such a subjective term. There are parts of the world where woman are currently damaging there health taking small pills to make them 'fat' and therefore highly desireable to the men in those countries. It seems in our western world we are increasingly focussing on the outward and not what is inside. Here is a young woman who is confidant about her body: hoo-rah. We are all shapes and sizes on this forum with differnt goals, but ulimately, we'll only be happy when we've learned to really love ourselves. That can mean losing some weight and optimising health, but quite a few here are struggling with long held baggage about their own body image - and the the biggest victories are when peeps made discoveries about them selves that begin to change how they 'feel'. It can be a difficult journey, and there is always something else to be fixed if we get caught up in in other people impossible targets of so called perfection.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Evening All,

Its 7.30pm over in HK, very warm and sticky. Just thought I would pop in as im bored waiting for the gang to get ready. Been a good boy and been in the gym twice, one small session and one normal session. Body clock has gone all over the place, so only had 6 hours kip in two days, and two of those was on the plane! Never mind Jet Lag will kick in soon I have no doubt.

I wont pretend to have read all the posts. But I looking forward to boring the pants off you all next week.

    Take Care

Happy birthday nessa56 - never mind the calories, just enjoy the evening!

Good to hear from you Suggs, and I am mega-impressed that you are keeping up with the gym even on hols! Well done, you!

I am sitting like a right little tubby having just scoffed lots of supernoodles with cheese, and it is pizza and oven chips for tea for the mass sleepover.
How I had the nerve to come back on here then go immediately off the rails I don't know but I am off to do some housework now to try to burn a little of it off!

Oh BB that reminds me! 10 people are on our poll in this thread as wanting to lose weight for a special occasion and I was going to be nosey and ask what those special occasions are! :p

    :p

I didn't set out to lose weight for a special occasion but DD just got engaged and I was hoping for a wedding this year to encourge me a bit more. She thinks it might be next year so I will continue trying to lose weight for health reasons.
