Yay Molly you decided to join then! :D

Well my scales were having a right wobbly this morning and couldn't decide what weight i am!

First they told me lost 3 3/4lb so was in shock, then told me a stone had been lost then told me i had gained 1/4lb then 1/2lb!

So i don't know what to put this week, am pretty sure i have lost nothing though so can i class myself as STS this week and hopefully next week it will have made its mind up and i would have lost some weight as only 5 weeks until holiday and i HAVE to slim to fit into my clothes!

Hi sanya I have polycystic ovaries though not pcos so know how hard it is to loose weight and put up with the many other things that go along side!
I've just signed up today and plan to start on Monday.Have you read "The pcos Handbook" I borrowed it from my library and it has some great tips in there about loosing weight and how it is important for us to eat something every 3 hours and not to go without for long periods. If you haven't read it look it up :)
I personally didn't get on well with weight watchers meetings.I enjoyed the diet but they like you to loose weight every week and focus on this.Pcos sufferers can have weeks where nothing is lost then suddenly find they've lost 4lb the week after.I didn't like the "Oh you've stayed the same" or "you've put on a Lb this week".
I'm hoping a regular diet with exercise plus evening primrose oil & a couple of other vitamins will help with my thinning hair, spots and Facial hair  that is just beginning to show.
good luck with whichever diet you follow :)

From what you've said MollyMop, it sounds as if following a low GI/GL plan would be ideal for PCOS so if anyone wants to know more just ask and I can also recommend a good cookbook.

Went ot a boot fair this afternoon but it was so hot it was torture looking at what my H calls 'tat':rotfl: :rotfl: keep thinking new house, new house, pick something up and H says 'no more tat':rotfl: put it back down, come home and wish I had ignored him:rolleyes:

Got DS some lovely clothes for the future, he is only 8 but will be 9/10/11:D very MSE, buy it now keep it for a few years he will grow into them:D got some school trousers for him age 11:rolleyes:

Lovely day, hopefully the rain will stay off for tomorrow as the boot fair is the best one on a sunday and so far we have been very unlucky with sunday rain and cancelllations, I GO with all my £1 coins, barter them down, wash them and put them away for the future:D

Oh my goodness, sweet is not the word! I'm going to add 'panda' to my list of wants for my future smallholding/ animal sanctuary - do you think there are many stray pandas in Somerset? :rotfl:We managed to capture one of our stray cats today, so only 5 more to go!

KPC, we finally got round to having your Sweet potato and chickpea tagine tonight, blummin lovely! I might try leaving out the honey next time or bulk it out with something a little more savoury, any ideas? Thanks for the recipe, nomnom! :T
