Well done Mark, that's excellent:j . Morning Wendy: look forward to hearing how your first walk went:A . I'm up very early for me as got a plasterer coming aytime now to finish off my hall ceiling. Plans today include photographing 5 things for ebay and going into town to get remains of wedding outfit for Saturday before panic sets in. Aiming for another under 5 syns day today, so better plan lunch and dinner now.
Lois - that's very good news re hubby, hope this herald the start of a doubly good year for you both: and a 6lb loss, wow:j .
Vix - I'm a bit concerned about you - you seem very run down if you are getting all these little illnesses. It's not suprising as you lead up to your finals, but do look after yourself in anyway possible - get plenty of early nights and try and up the fruit/veg content of your diet - perhaps even a multi vitamin during the next 2 months tils it's all over. I'm not a vitamin taker myself, but it sounds like you need an extra boost.
Victory - have I missed an update on the house front - did you get the offer accepted on the house you fell for or have you found somewhere else?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

That's a great start wendy, well done. It's the briskness that makes it good exercise, so you did the right thing to keep it up (morning boys:D ). Grey and drizzly here on the south coast.

    Morning campers!

Just dropped my youngest off at school (the three boys are off today, they go back to school tomorrow),and despite the possibility of rain we walked. She's getting used to it the poor darling, we now only drive if it's raining hard.

Back feels better too so I 'm ok for my swimming lesson tonight. I'm not quite Aquamarina yet, but at least I don't drown.

Well done to those who have lost more weight!

    See ya later!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Ah wendy, I sense the next challenge coming up:D . Perhaps when you have got into a good pattern with the walking, swimming will be next. It is hard going to things on your own, but it is a wonderful life skill to aquire -I was on my own for years and years before i met Mr bb and had no choice, I had to go to many things on my own: evening classes, holidays,cinema...and sometimes it really paid off, as I got chatting to people and made some lovely new friends or just one off life enhancing conversations, that I wouldn't have made the effort for if I had gone safely with a partner or friend: I wouldn't have 'needed' to speak to anyone else. Just seen your sig -12lbs since you joined us, that's fantastic:j

  • morning all,

well i managed to get some flowers and chocolates to be delivered ot my mum today. wont be good enough and her card, which i have yet to go and buy, will still be late but not a lot more i can do. except remember to phone her this evening.

think im going to walk down to the park in a bit and see how they are getting on with my new swings, really hoping they are having big people swings as well as toddler ones this time, the toddler ones are less fun. course i have to get dressed first.

now can i resist the chocolate and cigs at the shop is going to be todays question.

I'm sorry to hear about Mr w wendy: you are right, it is easy to get into a rut and it would be good for you both for you to have 'me time'. You seem to be having a 'me' springclean at the mo so I'm sure you'll get there. It's great to hear he is supportive of that. I have a lot of health problems, so also get into a rut every so often and have to re challenge myself to get out there: just a little trip can make all the difference and give me a sense of reconnection to the world out there.
Purplecl - as someonewho has been known to eat my mum's xmas toffee present before it gets to her I can only urge restraint:D . It's if you start eating the flowers you know your in trouble:rotfl:
