If i ever wanna work out my stomach muscles i get on my back, put my legs up to my stomach and just pull my legs in and pull my shoulders in at the same time. Do it enough and you can half feel it!
I always think that exercising your stomach muscles and your pelvic floor always feel really weird and horrible. Like doing your arms and legs just creates a pain, stomach and pelvic are just gross feeling. Or is that just me?0 -
Ha ha, glad to see the banter is truly back on form, it's been a while since the Ajax/Suggs comments truly coincided in such spectacular fashion! :T
As for sit ups - full ones use 80% back, 20% core so if it's the tummy you want to focus on then crunches are far more effective.
It looks like we're having a bit of a team kickstart from tomorrow :j I'm looking forward to making it to the gym after my time up north, just got to fit in a visit with my other friend who's just had a baby first. Pleased to report that, although very cute, I have NO DESIRE to be a mother anytime soonI'm quite happy (and relieved) to be back with my cats and preparing for some kittens :j

When I use the cross trainer at the gym I get a wee bit of pain up my calfs & find it very hard to do more than 2 mins.
Its been suggested this happens because I cant put my heels fully down.
Does this sound about right?

Hey all, managed another full 15 minutes running today. I've not been on a Sunday before so wasn't sure if it would be busy or not. But it was nice & quiet.
I picked up a form for the running club while I was there, the beginners level is 14+ min/mile with lots of stops for up to 3 miles. When I do the full 15 minutes I run 1.86 km, which is just over a mile I think, so sound a good place to start.
Weigh day tomorrow, if I've gained again I'm going to scream!! Especially as I've been so good all week.
