Oooh FFM well done! You've made me just go and compare my year to date grocery figures with last years (for 1 adult and 1 very hungry growing boy):
Year to 20 April 2007: £726.53
Year to 20 April 2008: £590.17
Averages just under £20 per week per person which I am happy with, we're eating well on that and not scrimping.
I suspect there won't be much difference in the numbers after May which is when I started my diet and I know my food bill went down quite a bit then.0 -
I have cracked how this site is helping everyone so much! You end up chatting on here all the time and so miss meal times/ or you are kept busy typing so no snacking. Works for me!
Wendy Just the one little girl, the other 3 are hormonal boys! Lots of knuckle dragging! Only joking they are lovely lads. My parents have six grandkids and my Babby is the only girl. There must be something in the water around here!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

Aw Wendy you're so sweet, but it's overeating this week that's been the problem, plus I've let the exercise go and not been doing the school walk twice a day.
Normally I allow myself some leeway for half the week and then spend the other half being stricter about food but I lost track this week. I will be better today, and as from tomorrow I have 3 weeks to get back down to 8 stone - I know I've given myself more to do because of this week, but I enjoyed it!0 -
Well done to you too missyg, a great saving. I actually spent more when I was 'on the diet', as I was cooking Rosemary Conley recipes and only buying the 'very best' from Waitrose - it helped me not to feel 'deprived'.

My theory with the arm eating was that as I have no useful muscle left on it, it would be better as fodder and after the poo a WL
I did however manage to make porridge with blueberries and yoghurt, yum!, so the arm is safe for another day. Off to the supermarket now with essentials list til the end of the month - please let me stay in budget! The stray seems to be pregnant  so I may blow it all on food for her
