Thanks for the chart delly :T it must take some effort especially when you aren't firing on all cylinders either, but we are very grateful :j ...Well done Marion SOTW  :j and it shows just how well this group goes when the runners up lost 5lb each as well!! So well done too kymrob :j and cuffie :j ...

...bh You aren't alone here regarding the depression as quite a few of us suffer/have suffered with it. A few years ago I was seriously underweight as a result so I understand how you feel. I've struggled with the illness for years and at the moment it's been exacerbated by a reactive bout, problems never come unaccompanied they always have to bring a friend  anyway, you are in good company here and I'm sure one of our gym bunnies will give you some advice soon. Take care...

...Actually, talking of the above, since January when things went wrong , in the past whenever bad things happened I would always stop eating rather than comfort eat, which is as well as I'd be 30 stones and growing :rotfl: and I believe that it's being here that's helped me this time, not sure, but I think so, I can't think of anything that's different  but I'm glad it has, otherwise I'd be 51/2st again...I'm rambling now, I'll be back later unless....whatever...

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Nessa, I understand it can be frustrating but try not to let it get you down. Remind me how you're trying to lose the weight and we'll surely be able to help you with a plan to kickstart it again. Hugs x EDIT: I see you're doing SW. How long have you been maintaining now? You are certainly getting somewhere as you have lost 9 lbs so please keep faith in yourself. Often the best way to reactivate your WL is to change your routine a bit, as your body acclimatises to set patterns. Let us know a bit more so we can help, I'm sure BB or someone can suggest some SW ideas for your food too.
Pet, thanks for sharing about your depression, it really helps when people can be open xx

I had a great session today, as soon as I walked in the door Sarah mentioned how radiant and sexy I seemed, and completely at ease with my body!! I haven't seen her since I got rid of my scales etc and it was really interesting that she saw such a difference. I really feel so much 'freer' not carrying it all around any more :jHappy days!

    Thanks Bails,

It is nice to have the support.

I am doing Slimming World but I think I must be doing something wrong somewhere. I think I need to go back to planning my days menu every day not just now and then, maybe that is it?

It is nice to hear that you are happy, very encouraging.

Sounds like a good idea, how about planning the next week's worth of meals? You can always swop days around if you wake up and think 'actually I'd rather have a green day today' etc. Good luck!

I tried doing a weeks worth once. By wednesday I was so sick of thinking of food I had to give up.

Mind you that was then, at the moment I can think of nothing but food so, yes I will give it a go. Thanks

Ha ha, I can relate to that! Just do it in manageable chunks, see how you get on.

    Morning peeps:j
The good news is that I have lost one of the 3 lbs I need to (that’s not an official weigh in delly) AND far more importantly, I walked to work for the first time in 5 months. It isn’t that far (15-20 mins) but until today it has been too exhausting to do that and then do my 3 hrs stint at work. May be a one off for a while, but it's another small step forward in recovery.
Victory – when I was doing the chart in Dec/Jan, you regarded your target weight as 80lbs lost, and when you put on 5lbs over the 2 xmas weeks, that is what you worked hard at Victory boot camp to get back too and succeeded. I notice now that your total loss is 83.3 lbs and you are stressing about ‘gaining’ 0.7lb this week. Please note you are still 3.3 lbs under your target (and you were 4lbs under): it sounds like you are only allowing yourself to sts or lose and never fluctuate up. This means that logically you only be content with sts or gradually losing more and more into underweight/ ‘impossible to maintain’ meltdown land. It is impossible for a body to be consistently sts week after week: it is normal to fluctuate at least a little up and down. I know you find what you perceive as a gain difficult:grouphug: , but I wanted to remind you it isn’t a true gain:A .
You felt good at 80lbs lost and were wearing clothes you felt good in. Remember – you can’t afford to have to buy the next size down AGAIN.

Resisted a flapjack from the newsagents where I work and have rewarded myself with banana, chopped dried prunes and a dollop of quark to ease the nagging sweettooth now I am home. Tonights dinner is roast chicken and roast peppers, squach, corgette and carrots. Yum. Bought a wizzard little [strike]toy [/strike]essential kitchen equipment that grates carrot etc at the touch of a button so lots of grated everything for lunch/snacks at the mo too.
Yes Petrichor -I second what bails said - thanks for being so open and honest about your depression: it's so good to have you on this forum.
Bails - that's lovely to hear xx
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thank you Claireabelle and everyone else who has been so kind as to send good wishes my way! I only wish I hadn't had to gain 8 pounds last week in order to take 9 off this week!!:o :o

However on a brighter note - I have been really good this week as well and have even managed to get a couple of walks in (torn ligaments in knee about 3 weeks ago) and am hoping for a good loss next week - although highly unlikely to ever top this weeks miraculous event!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I do love coming to this thread and I am trying hard to post more often but I do find it difficult. Funny enough in person I come over as very confident but on line I go all shy and bashful!!

    Love to all
    Marion
