Morning.... i am in a good mood today because after a few weeks of losing nothing or barely anything i have lost 1 & 3/4lbs this week :j Thats with no exercise too but i haven't had a single snack all week! Only 3 meals a day and lots of water, Plan is same for this week too!
Total loss since 5th Jan is now 10 3/4lbs :T
Well done to every other loser too especially Kymrob! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Fantastic achievement Kymrob, well done you! Congrats to lilmissup too, your hard work is paying off! :T:T:T
Nice one KPC, yeah they changed it last night while I was still on there due to massive overdemand but hey, still free money! I bet on Cloudy Lane too (and on Bailys Breeze for a laugh!) Hope we win!
Still got my fingers crossed for you Vic.
Just to let you know, I had a bit of a head fit last night about having too many irons in the fire so I've decided to spend my Easter hols (which started today :j) prioritising all my MS things and overhauling my budget as it's the new financial year. I seem to spend so much time chatting and not much actually moneysavingSo I'm not disappearing and I'm sure I'll pop in, it's just I need to clear some headspace by getting on top of everything. I hope you all continue to do a great job and I look forward to hearing all about it. You can always find me by PMing or FBing me. Take care xxx

Hey everyone!
I need to have a careful weekend now to balance out eating too much in the first half of this week. Luckily I find it easier to eat less at weekends than during the week, so that's a fairly normal pattern for me
Raphael, a 3.7% drop is a lot! I've been monitoring mine more or less since I've been maintaining and it's gone from 24.4% to 22.7% now (16 weeks). Lowest point being 21.2%. Look forward to hearing what Simon has to say on Monday too but keep up the good work! Have a brill week off too.
Granny I've probably missed you but have a wonderful time in Nice!
Kymrob, stunning loss there! I didn't tell people I was losing weight either, can't bear that kind of scrutiny or people asking how it's going (in real life I mean, it's different on this thread). Similar to Wendy, I lost 2 stone before people started commenting, and that's probably about what it would take for me to notice it properly on other people too. Wendy, I too had people telling me to stop when I will still overweight! I also still have people telling me to stop now, as if I'm still losing, when I'm not really - I'm less than 3lb lighter than I was at Christmas :rotfl:
Well done Lilmissmup, another fab loss there! First stone not far off now!
Good luck KPC and anyone else having a flutter today!
Bails, totally understand that! Hope you're enjoying the challenges and not finding them a chore (other than ebay listings ), moneysaving should be funYou know where I am too if you want to brain dump anything

Missyg, I'm opposite to you, I find it easier during the week when I am at work not to overeat. I have porridge before I leave home, a piece of fruit at 10am, couscous at 12noon and a piece of fruit at 3pm. I have dinner with the family at about 6pm. Evenings are my danger time, and that is where the calorie counting helps me. I like to aim for 1500 as a total, but have recently been hitting about 2000, once I hit 2000 I don't have a problem not eating any more. But I'm still worrying that this magic 2000 calories that is supposed to feed the average woman will make me gain weight.
My average this week was 1755, but I have put on 1.2lbs. I'm gutted because I will have to report a 2lb gain as it has taken me just over to 13.6lbs which I round up to 14lbs.
I had every intention of being good today, but failed just after lunch as my homemade flap jacks were calling me. If I can make that my only slip today I will stay within the 1500, I've got roast chicken for tea (but I will have a small jacket potato rather than the roasts that the rest of the family have).
Wendy, I'm guilty of telling someone at work they didn't need to lose weight, when I was really thinking a little bit off wouldn't hurt. The thing is, she said she had put on about 3/4 stone and needed to lose the weight, how could I turn round and say, 'yes, you are looking a bit plump, it would be a good idea' :rotfl: So I just said, 'no, you look fine as you are'. If I had said she needed to lose weight she would probably had thought 'what a b...ch', whereas at least what I said would not have hurt her feelings.
What I'm trying to say is that maybe not everyone is out to sabotage your efforts, they may just be trying to be diplomatic.
I changed jobs a little while ago but still work really close to my old work. On Friday I bumped into 2 guys within 15 minutes of each other and both started off by saying 'have you lost weight?' That was quite nice I have to admit.
Bails, hope to see you on the GC challenge if not here.

Well done lilmussmup:j and kymrob yet again :j :j you are a real inspiration to us all :j :j Have you got any photos of you at your heaviest? I do hope so, if not please get some taken now so that you (and us peeps
) can see the tremendous difference when you finally achieve your goal. I often wish that I'd done this as I think that it would help me to maintain, all I have is an old pair of jeans that were stretched to their limits before I decided to lose my weight...
...FFM I can't maintain on 2000 cals either, I'm happiest about 1500 although some weeks that seems high too...
...Now, completely off track, but I feel compelled to bring young ajax to task for the following shameful and soledestroying comment >

Do you have no heart??? Alphonse has feelings too you know!!! :rotfl: I've told him that Uncle Ajax was only joking, but he's having none of it and is refusing to come here with me today. So now I've had to recruit Rafa (in honour of him reaching the Miami Masters final:j ) ...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Thanks for that, 2000 seemed rather high, but you see that number everywhere as what is recommended for the average female.
