  • sarah ~ Sorry I didnt want to make anyone feel like that, I have just been ranting about how I feel. None of which I can do in the 'real world'

    I didn't mean it like that hun, you should know that you can rant away, esp to me! I just think its really sad that in the time of such medical advances, they can't be bothered to give you something simple like a contraceptive pill! Just made me :mad: and I was feeling :( yesterday anyway.

    (((hugs)))

  • Rog ~ yep it is a big pain. Got the scans and everything so its proof that she payed. I will prob write a letter to them and see if I can get it back. Highly doubt it but it makes me mad. Wish I had let it get returned to sender now.

    sarah ~ :grinheart aww hope you are feeling better today. Hows your little one?

    ~~~~~
    Right payday tuesday :j I will be supprised if I get anything over £750 but I can wish :rotfl: My accounts are near enough empty bar pence, so here we go ~
    £100.00 ~ mum/rent
    £65.00 ~ BT (we are in credit so fingers crossed they may take less)
    £11.00 ~ house insurance
    £25.00 ~ bus cards (only one this month as I have one whole ticket left)
    £9.50 ~ WLR
    £25.00 ~ Halifax ~ locked
    £25.00 ~ Halifax ~ web saver
    £12.00 ~ monthly kit (will be looking at cancelling this but the person involved isnt answering any of my emails)
    £30.00 ~ stamping up
    £50.00 ~ Argos (mums payment, however I spent it)
    £80.00 ~ business account (what I used on my splash out)
    £59.97 Tesco pre order wiifit
    Total = £492.47
    Left = £257.53
    With the remaining if you take out £40 for weekly spends that leaves £200. I am hoping to save £100 and have £100 as a reserve. Not such a bad soa after all but I need to stop dipping into all my halifax accounts, I shall make sure I dont do that this month. I also only have 9 months to save £2000 to reach my savings target... if you take out decembers month that then leaves 8 months so that means I need to save approx £250 per month from now till then :eek: The challenge is back on!
    Feeling better today hun thanx, what about u?
    DS is good.... currently whinging because he knows I have just run the bath and is waiting to get in!
    Ur SOA looks good as always, just remember not to be too tough on yourself.... you reserve is a good idea, then if u want/need to spend, the extra is there, but if not, you can save it at the end of your 'month'
    Ref the monthly kit, is this taken by direct debit? If so, I bet the person will answer your emails if you cancel it! ;)
  • I am ok hun. Still a little down but getting there. On a positive note I have found some avon hair cream so I am trying that now so I dont have to sit here plucking all day :rotfl: Awww bless him. Have your updated your diary lately?
    Yes I think the resurve would be handy, also I forgot about thomas' jabs so thats £20 from that already :rotfl: I think having a little safety net will help loads as I am not absoulty stuffed if I have something planned. Plus teh end of my 'month' in may we have a holiday. So I need some type of net.
    The monthly kit I pay each month through her internet site, either on my card/through paypal. So that is an idea ~ we shall see.
    Take care hun and dont work too hard :A
    Haven't updated my diary for a while, was gonna do it earlier, but DS wouldn't sleep, so we got in the bath instead... Will definately have to go over there in a bit - not that much is happening!
    A holiday would be nice, and u definately deserve the break - have you got anywhere planned yet?
    Got a week off work, but we have gardening planned ready for DS in the summer, so lots of hard labour to do instead :D
  • Success, the cream worked. No burning/rad face/itching, this is more like a mostiriser than that harsh stuff I used to use. I did use it once before but the spatula that can with it wouldnt remove the hairs but using the nair spatula and this cream works. Also just checking online when its on sale its actually £1.00 cheaper too :j happy pap
    I did read about your oh wanting a tv/grass cutter, didnt reply though ~ sorry hun. Upadate it later when you have time :D Well we were supposed to go then but its right on top of the bank holiday so we decided to leave it till september now but that gives me a spare week in may and then I have 3 days in june too. Would love to travel to a few craft shops in june though :D
    :rotfl:Have a great week then, I am not sure thats how holidays work though, arent you suppose to relax on holidays from work? Is there lots to do then or not very much? Sounds as though you will be busy, hope you get some great weather :D
  • Not too much.... Dad has donated a lawn mower as they hace no lawn anymore (step mum uses wheelchair, so its all paving now), we need to cut the grass, pull up the patio (which is unbelievably uneven) and replace that with gravel. We're also gonna create a path down the side of the garden with the slabs, and stick a fence up half way across so that the dog has a part of the garden and DS has a part of the garden... that's the plan anyway!
    Great news on the cream!! Maybe because it is a bit more moisturising it won't burn.... do you put another cream on afterwards to soothe the skin?
    Just checked your signature pap and you're doing really well with your savings as yet, well done :T.
    Glad that the cream worked for you :D xx
  • Sarah ~ Sounds really good, Hope you dont go over board though and have some kind of a break. Good idea about keeping the dog in its own area, avoids any problems then. Bet you cant wait till its finished :) Regarding the cream yes I usually used lots of face cream, I only use the cheapish stuff from avon beacuse it would help cool my face too. This time however I needed none but I will cream it before bed as I usually do anyways.
    babes ~ Yes I am, Its not as fast as I would have liked because I had this 'sit out' month, however I dont regreat it. Hopefully I can still get my target by the end of the year. Btw who is that cute pig in your avatar? :D
    Hi there pap! I waved at you!!
    Re the hair have you considered lazer therapy? Its quite expensive but a real confidence boost - I know those yummy pcos hormones make hair a pain. I've had it and it feels a bit like a whac with an elastic band and not too painful although you do need a few sessions (up to 6 I think) as hair grows at different rates...worth looking at for a huge confidence boost? Hugs for you! The city was looking lovely & green I thought! Always brings back memories & I used to live there for ages!
