Another "steady eddie" day day today.
Got another 230 catalogues done by 3.00pm today, even starting to get a sun tan on my arms now, I've been out in the sun so long. Having an easier day tomorrow, planning on doing 106 as I'm having the boys from 1.30pm :j till nearly 8.00pm :j as it's football training night.:j
Spent £2.17 on lunch, 82p on some envelopes, £2.08 on posting the football stickers, £3.53 on coffee and bread from the local garage and that was pretty much it.0 -

Didn't spend too much today. Stuck £15.00 of diesel in the van and £15.00 of petrol in the car ( making sure I didn't muddle them up... ). Football training last night so their training subs cost £1.50 each, did a spot of shopping costing around a fiver and that was about it.
Two weeks today and I'll wake up on my 40th birthday! . Life begins and all that. I've made some medium-sized changes to my lifestyle since setting this date as a kind of goal to get myself sorted. I've spent hours at the PC filling in this blog, hunting around the site for money-saving tips and making changes in order to make the next stage more bearable.
Prinicpally, I've lost nearly 2.5 stone because I've been fed up of being overweight which I have been since I moved up to here nine years ago. I have nearly four more stone to lose but taking it steadily and gradually is the way forward for me rather than losing it all at once.
I've changed my broadband, home phone, TV and mobile suppliers; got those along with my electricity and gas suppliers organised on direct debits to save a few quid; arranged a mini-DMP with CCCS to manage my creditors better and made some "resolutions" to make life better. These are more personal and private things which I'll end up sharing but even the smallest of changes make a difference.
I'll never be 100% happy until / unless the twins come and live with me. They'll be eight in November and the courts retain the status quo wherever possible so the only way I'd ever get them until they're old enough to make their own decision is if the courts felt they were in danger or being neglected. Hand on heart, I cannot say that, I'm just unhappy that they get tossed aside when Mum wants a new bloke and she always lets them meet the man too early in a relationship, sometimes after less than a week..
Right, off to work now, must stop waffling.:D I've still got to make some minor alterations in life and some more resolutions. Silly ones like not putting any less than £20 of fuel in the vehicles when filling up. The price has gone up so much that i end up putting four lots of a tenner in the car when one big fill-up does the same trick. I need to organise the DD's to come out at a convenient time too and just be a bit more savvy with my money. The journey to enlightenment comes with a single step, I've taken that, and now I'll make damn sure I'm happy.
Nurse? My medication please. And can you open that window please, it's awfy hot in here....:o0 -

Petrol £12.00 ( bought in Sainsbury's for Nectar points )
Skittles tonight cost £3.40 ( one pint plus subs for playing...)
210 catalogues delivered....:D
Bought my ham salad roll / aus crunch £2.27
One more sleep till I see the boys again....:j :j :j0 -
Did another 110 catalogues this morning...that makes 880 for the week which is the most ever. I quite enjoy doing them even though it gets a bit repetitive. Worst bit is when someone's dog is t'other side of the letterbox and you don't see / hear them....
Had the ham salad roll with aus crunch today and still the weight holds steady. It won't be the full three stone off at this rate but 2.5 stone would be good.. Lunch cost £2.27 and that was it for today....:D0 -

Who is Gerard Way BTW?
Hi Beanielou,
Gerard Way is the lead singer of My Chemical Romance, my favourite band. The lyrics in my sig are from their hit "Famous Last Words". I only got into them last year and bought their album ( Amazon £4.99 ) a few weeks ago.0
