  • Short one tonight as bed beckons....:D

Only spent £4.00 today. The twins had football this morning so their subs at £2.00 x two needed paying. Came back home at 12.30pm and haven't been out since...

    Diet? What diet?

Another short one tonight for the same reason.

Diet has gone badly again today.

Haven't spent much really apart from some shopping this morning.

Boys went back at 4pm, won't see them till Wednesday...:(

    Hi Stranger!
Just trying to have a bit of a catch-up as I've been busy moving house, having baby and other such mundane activities! Missed quite a bit, but your post above sounds really promising - you've been doing brilliantly (if we ignore the last two posts!). You're doing better than me on the diet - I'm still at the 'I'll start on Monday' stage. Keep at it!

    Hi Panda,

Hey, good to see you again. :D :T . I must catch up on your news elsewhere. Moving house and having baby? Goodness, no wonder you haven't been round much. Did you call the little 'un Chip? :D No?

Great to see you again anyway. Good luck!

Been meaning to read this thread for ages and finally got chance to read the whole thing this morning while the baby sleeps. Nearly woke him one or twice laughing though!

Thanks for your words, Choc. I love making people smile and laugh. You should see my face, it cracks people up... :rotfl:

Spent £26.00 today. That was £20.00 on petrol at Tesco ( 20 Clubcard points ), £3.75 on tea at Ikea and £2.25 on the usual at the bakers for lunch. I delivered 155 catalogues this morning so will be in negative equiy on the calories today for sure....:D

Only ten days to go till my 40th though. Hoped to lose 2.5 stone by then but the constant visits to the bakers combined with the willpower of a mushroom means that I'll probably have to settle for two stone which ain't bad since Christmas.:D The long term plan is to lose another four stone this year very gradually. I'm doing a big charity thing in October and it would be good to lose it by then which might be achievable but I'm not over-fussed if it doesn't come off that quickly.

Off to skittles now which will be £3.40 outlay. That's a pint of cider plus £1 subs.

  • Funny old day today...

Did the morning post run at 7.00am as usual then got back and loaded the van with 203 catalogues to deliver. Dropped the first two off then got a phone call for a job to Chester. Marvellous! :j Dropped the van back home and filled the car up, picked the packages up and off we go. Even got paid by the customer tonight...:j :j

Spent a lot though. See earlier in the thread for exact details but always stop at the BP Gowy services on the way back for lunch, it's a tradition, all right? Spent £15.00 on diesel for the van, £35 in petrol for the car ( 35 Clubcard points ) , £4.30 on lunch and that's it. Still, todays a day for being in profit so hoorah!!! :j

The final proof-reading day at the football club today...:j . I'll be sad in one way but in a DFW way, I need to give it up and do it via the techno route saving myself around £400 in the process.

Bought the boys a YTFC wallet each today, £10.00; bought a new YTFC away shirt reduced from £39 to £16 as there's only a few left; spent the normal £2.00 on doughnuts / biscuits ( for the last time ) and £30.00 on petrol ( 30 Clubcard points ). Finally, £3.00 tonight for the boys football training and £10.00 for a school trip they're going on next week.

Routine day here in Chipville. Managed to deliver 200 catalogues as well as doing the morning and evening post runs too. That leaves around 330 to go for which I'll do the paperwork over the weekend and deliver them early next week.:o

Quiet day otherwise. Been gumtreeing since I've got home; trying to get a reasonable condition sofa, fridge-freezer, wardrobe and curtains.

Been collecting the Sun's holiday tokens this week so that I can take the boys away for a few days this summer. We've been four times ( twice with mum when we were together and twice on my own with them ) and we have a brilliant time together. . Last token tomorrow, I think, so will be sending off the token asap.
