Eight hours? . If you'd gone eight hours the other way, you'd have been in Africa nearly. Well, maybe not quite but still, that's one heck-of-a-way!! I think it's just called Hendra Holiday Park actually.
Lucy - yes that firing range is amusingly placed.:D
Apparently, they've also redesigned the Krazy golf course too, made it even better. I really hope we get in there but Warmwell will be a good second choice. It's just off the Poole - Weymouth road and they have log cabins in the woods there. Swimming pool is good there too...;)0 -
I haven't been back since 2004. I keep meaning to go. I think I am going to meet some uni friends there in September. Which could be messy.
Lovely little place though. Nice little ice cream parlour on the sea front. Or there was any way. Next to The Deer Leap pub.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
After this morning's debacle, all I spent this afternoon was £20.00 on petrol. :A .
Oh except DS2 and DS3's mum rung up. The boys have got four weeks rest from football now as we're preparing them for the tournament season but she's booked them in for eleven weeks training at school costing £33 each...  . Had to come round for the money this afternoon too...
Maybe next season, I'll get her to chip in with 50% of the training and match fees. This has cost me over £300 in the past two years and.....oops, sorry, was ranting then....:rolleyes:0 -
Rant away.
One of my best mates often wonders why his ex wife always needs money for their 4yr old to have a new coat... How many coats does he need??Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Spent a small fortune again today but all on stuff I needed. My catalogue money came in this week ( can't you tell?? ) so while I have it, I've spent some of it.
First trip was to get a new quilt cover / pillow case set, fitted sheet and valance. Got it all from a local draper for under £20. Popped into Wilkinson's to buy some curtains for the front room as I haven't had any since I moved in. Considering the aperture ( good word for a thicko like me ) is 96" x 108" , I think a pair of fully lined curtains with tiebacks for £30 was good value. Also bought an extension lead so that I can mow the back lawn soon, a tenner for that....:o
Next stop was Rajani Superstore where I got a set of car mats for £3.25 and some new pencils, crayons and fibre tip pens for a fiver with some wordsearch books for the boys. I've never known kids like wordsearches so much.0 -
Now dont get overdoing it there Chip !!! Mowing the law wow !!!
Have you decided what you are doing for your birthday yet ?BSC MEMBER 319 - AD 22ND JULY 20110
