Just done a quick run around the house and counted eighteen bits of Ikea stuff...:D
I'm heavily into Gumtree at the moment, have been for three years now. It's a fabulous website and I love trawling through it on a daily basis looking for bargains. So far, I've spent £72 on it and for that, I've got...
Ikea table + 4 chairs, small Ikea Lack table, Ikea Malm 4-drawer chest, a birch corner unit, a double bed headboard, a set of pine bunk beds with mattresses, a single bed with mattress and headboard, a double bed, another Ikea Lack table, a Hoover, a fridge, an office chair and two reception chairs.:T0 -
Think it might be a long Easter holiday somehow.:(
Got a text from the twins mum last night, said simply "Nite x ". Strange as we don't really get on that well. I replied back "Was that meant for me?" and she replied "Yes" so I responded with a "night night" back. All in all, quite innocent really.
Went off to sleep and woke up about 1.00am with 15 missed texts. Pretty banal stuff really except for one where she said "I don't trust you", another that said "Okay, I'm dead now, hooray for you" and a third saying "Yeah, you win, hope you're happy now" and that sort of thing....
She always gets this down and depressed when things go wrong and takes to the bottle. Those poor little boys will be getting their own breakfast this morning, I expect, yet the law in this country sees their mother as being more fit to look after them than their father. Those of you who know what my user name was before Chip Hazard can look back under it and see the history but clear an hour in your schedule before you do so...
Sorry for moaning, just needed to share it. Take care xx0 -
Awww chip, thats not fair to either you or the boys.
Its not moaning, you are just getting it off your chest
Take lots of care

Chip
why don't you and maz just go get a room
I have two girls who I have joint custody of and it's been that way for over 10 years now, I have them every other night and hold down a full time job, they are my darlings and this arrangement works though it's been hard work at times but you wont get me on here fishing for compliments and sympathy off the girlies
your diet of Bourbons, chocolate bars, meatballs and Macdonalds super meals is really working then
bet I don't get any thanks for this post0 -
Ah well, that's where you're wrong, I've thanked you so...
The diet overall is going well. Four times a year, I work for HDNL which involves delivering 2-3,000 catalogues a month for them. In this period, I can eat an extra 500 calories a day and still lose weight although I admit that I'd lose more were I to stay on the straight and narrow....
I'd love joint residency of my youngest two. I went for it last March and the judge refused on the say-so of the CAFCASS officer who said he preferred the status quo. What Francis Rossi had to do with it, heaven only knows though...
Bought lunch out today, cost £2.15 and it's skittles tonight so around another four quid heading south tonight...:o0 -
Have just read all your diary...what a man!And you have a sense of humour too! I love the refused on the say-so of the CAFCASS officer who said he preferred the status quo. What Francis Rossi had to do with it, heaven only knows though... thats what keeps you going i think, a sense of humour against all odds
Now i've read your diary will be popping back daily for a fix!
Keep up the good work

I'm not gonna even bother commenting on the troll post on here, if you don't want to read the goings on of chips life then go find some other thread to read
but from someone who has met both chip and his boys, I would like to say that he seems a great dad who is doing his best to see as much of his kids as he can while clearing his debts at the same time. Whats so wrong with writing a diary and getting some support from other people in a similar situation??

Good day in the end today. Managed to get 210 catalogues out today as it was so sunny. Bought lunch out at £2.15, spent £15.00 on diesel and only spent £1.10 at skittles tonight as the first pint was free and I normally make a pint last all game.
Spoke to the boys tonight, they were a little reserved but I'm picking them up tomorrow afternoon and taking them to football training at tea time.:j0 -
Awww...hope the lads are ok. I have 1st hand experience of the "drinking mother" from several perspectives. And I know what kind of affect it can have on kids.
I also know how much knowing that someone is there for them where ever/ whenever means to kids. Keep it up Chip.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
