I really want to keep up with this weekly thread :)
new yrs resolutions are to lose weight, home cook as much as possible and save money by meal planning
    last 3 weeks I've made a meal plan, and I've lost 6lb :j
DD and DS want to learn to cook more so they are choosing 2 meals each a week and cooking themselves
we usually shop on a Friday so I'll copy down this weeks meals

Friday - lemon chicken with leek risotto
Saturday - chicken fajitas with HM guacamole
Sunday - Lamb dinner (friend raises lambs and I buy 4 or 5 a yr from her) cauli cheese, roast parsnips, mash with leeks, sprouts
Monday - HM lamb and mint burgers with mint relish and salad (OH and DS had HM wedges too)
Tuesday - going to Manchester so will grab something in TC
Wednesday - beef red curry with noodles
Thursday - chilli con carne with HM tortilla chips

I try to buy organic or local produce so shopping bills can be on the high side but have certainly come down since doing a meal plan :)
