Hi everyone
been to see my dad this morning after I had taken dd to school my brother took him home from the hospital yesterday and he's still feeling really poorly I got him his breakfast and pills made sure something was ready for lunch and bro is sorting him out later I phoned the people that deal with home help and explained the situation and apparently the hospital shouldn't have sent him home until he was assesed(sp) to see if he could cope but they didn't so I have to wait for them to sort it out
tbh I'm not sure how much longer he is going to be with us
I did a couple of other jobs for him whilst I was there and I'm now knackered so I am going to get some lunch soon and take my pills although the rhumatologist has stopped some of my pills ready to get new ones in 2 weeks so my joints are really bad at the moment
sorrry for being so depressing
(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))) to all
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you
I am one of the English sexy Shelias

afternoon - you lot all sounds very busy today!!!
happy anniversary Mr and Mrs csarina!
Busy morning one load WM done and DW done too - just have to hang up clothes and get next load on.
Was very very pleased that i cleaned the house yesterday afternoon as the in-laws turned up unannounced! They didn't stay very long and I couldn't persuade them to have a cuppa, but was pleased they hadn't seen the mess that had been the kitchen 2 hours previously!
Just had yummy sausages for lunch - have a big corporate event this evening and wanted to be suitably fuelled to make sure that i could enjoy a glass of wine without falling over and not rely on finger food to keep me from fainting with hunger!
Right - off to get changed and jump on the bus
xxxr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Hello all !
Lovely sunny morning now turned to cloud but at least no rumblings in the earth.............lol
Contemplating whether to ring Insurance people over the plaster that fell off the wall or whether to leave it................it was loose anyway and OH was going to knock it off. Been advised by one chap to get the insurance to sort it but then my premiums will go up next year....................ummmm...........need to think this through
Spent the morning making a card for niece's new baby girl............first one went horribly wrong so started all over again and quite happy with the result so thats that done. Ordered flowering plant for MIL............£24 !!!! Nearly fell off my chair...............still, she's worth it.
Desk still in need of drastic sort out and letter rack about to fall over.............lol
Oh dear.............why can't I be the person I'd like to be?????
Have a great day all and hugs (((((((((((((((:o ))))))))))))to all those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

PATENTGIRL - I'm making the wedding favours out of the usual organdie, netting and ribbon but I found a knitting pattern for tiny little hearts that you knit then felt; I will try and make them (at least 100!) to hang on the ribbon tying the little net bags up. I also want to make 'wedding rings' to tie on with the hearts. I am experimenting with small brass curtain rings crocheted round with fine gold crochet thread, The look really effective but, to add the right touch, will need two on each favour so that's at least 200 of those! These favours are going to be a real labour of love! I'll have a look and a think about something for place names. If you google 'wedding favours' (or 'favors' for the USA) lots of different sites come up with ideas to copy.
PAM - (((Hugs))) to you and your Dad.
IVYLEAF - Welcome back! That's not morbid at all; I think it's lovely that you took the time to visit the grave. I come from Somerset - it's a beautiful county.
Well, I'd better go and get my cakes out of the oven and try and sit down and knit for an hour. Don't know where the time has gone today but I have achieved a lot so I don't mind.
Will drop in later.
