Morning everyone  hugs to those that need them. Well done on getting your second interview scuzz!
It's freezing cold here, I walked to work as my bike's got a flat and I didn't have time to fix it yesterday. Meeting at 8 amWe went to see Reel Big Fish play on Tuesday, they were quite good, but the venue was packed solid. OH doesn't really do music, so I'm breaking him in gently... (well, he's already had his trial by fire watching the nine inch nails play at Reading last year!)
I was shattered by the end of the gig though - so I think I'm getting to old for it now!
OH has got his first appointment with the mediator this morning - but now his estranged wife is saying she won't go. Still, we'll have to see what happens.
OH did chicken in the slow cooker for last nights tea - worked quite well, he put a couple of handfuls of rice at the bottom of the cooker which absorbed a lot of the excess fat and liquid whilst still keeping it moist. I'm at a loss what to do with the rice now though... can't bear to throw it away. :rotfl:
have a great day everyone.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Morning all,
didn't catch up yesterday - but hope everyone well. Hugs to any that need them.
Scuzz - good luck for the interview, you name-dropper!! lol
Am very tired, had a couple of rough nights, bad dreams (but don't know what about), no sleep, etc - will be glad when the essay is in next week & out of my head. Meantime, better get up & moving as got a meeting in Lewes in just over an hour!
Not much OS'ing going on this week, days seem to be flying past me in a blur.... Ordered a "cupcakes" book from the BookMan at work though, only £3 & was dribbling over the pics so decided I had to have it! And then the kids will be cooking all weekendThat'll do the (non) diet the world of good.

Morning everyone
The early night worked, I think PW it was maybe a little reaction of relief, as I certainly dont want a couple of days last week repeating ty.
Had a coffee, stripped the bed, just sat here chilling before diving in the shower. Going to start big clean up and packing today, but probably later on when the day is over, catching as much sun/blue skies as we can before we come back.
((hugs)) Smoky, Pen-Pin, Hilstep, CM, Mrs_M and anyone else who'd like one, (((hugs))) and hope you work things out the best for YOU redruby, and C-C, please consider yourselves and kids in the decsion, not just support for your OH's. I can remember you being upset by their behaviour recently.
:hello::hello:to all (especially to those who don't get one aimed at them):rotfl:

Good morning everyone. managed to drag myself out of bed and get to wo*k early. Still got headache but think it's probably stress related and hoping to feel better when I've been to hospital tomorrow with DD.
I phoned my sister in south wales last night. Her eldest DS had been taken to hospital with a suspected collapsed lung!!!-He's only in his early 20s. Apparently tall thin peole are susceptible to this particular condition-I've never heard that before!!! anyway, they kept him in hospital last night on oxygen and we will know more today!!!
(((hugs))) to all who need or want them.
Aussielass-hope you get well soon hun (((hugs))). Pleaase please can you post your hot cross bun recipe-I love hot cross buns!!! Thanks in anticipation!!!

Morning all, you all seem to have more exciting things to do than me.. or maybe you're just better at writing about it.
Sitting relaxing with computer and SAD lamp and a cuppa. Client due for manicure at 10, will have to get a move on in a bit. Need to get my potential treatment room sorted, but it seems like such a big job and lots that I can't do. Never mind, it'll happen.
Thanks for the wave DG!
Mountains of seeds etc from Graves/H&B visit yesterday to accommodate, more stuff to purchase as I'm due to make golden wedding cake for my wrinklies. Also just remembered I should invite my MIL for dinner on Sunday, so need to adjust menu to suit.
Onwards, lots more to read here."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Morning all,
Looks a bit fresh out there this morning but haven't ventured out yet. Have packed DS2 and DD of to school, DS1 is about to go tidy his side of the room (he's a right messy person....putting it politely:D ). Hubby finished work yesterday in readiness to start his new public sector job on Monday, so I have left him in bed for now.
Later on I am going to go through the wardrobes and sort out stuff that isn't worn. This will be bagged up in the charity bag that arrived yesterday and put out on Monday morning. Saves us a trip to the charity shop although it wouldn't have been a problem.
I am also going to sit and do some more cross stitching. I have been tackling 2 baby samplers..one for my daughter who's baby is due in 5 weeks and one for my friend who is due anyday now. I have finished the one and have done about 3/4 of the other so finger out to get it finished ready for framing.
Just started raining here so no hanging washing out  (I have my settee throws in the WM at the moment)

hugs to mr tru's poor grandad
Not feeling great today - got a dicky tummy and dd11 kept me up late last night. She said she was missing her dad but i think it had more to do with post torchwood stress disorder as she always gets a bit hyper and then can't sleep. Woke up at 3am to find her in bed with me and kicked her out - I'm not mean but i sleep in a single bed -
tea tonight will hopefully be fish and chips as exoh is coming over tonightI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
