That means I'll need to book too. :)

If you have to do a runner forever - give me just enough details to be able to reserve a room for you that you can later confirm when you get back.

Latest update - their customer services people have neither rung me nor emailed! However, the only saturday nights this travelodge has the £10 rooms is 19 Nov and 26 Nov (and 17 Dec, but probably a bit near Xmas :))

There is nothing in the area I can find with the number of rooms/beds available at anything like reasonable MSE/Old Styler prices (and I'm quite hooked into this £10 room thingy)

Anyone up for a change of date? Quick replies please - I've no idea how many rooms they have available.

With this much notice I'm fine with any weekend.
However I'm also going on holiday tomorrow (Cornwall here I come :j ) and won't be back until 23rd August so if any hotel rooms are booked before then it looks like I may miss out. But I'm less than an hours drive from Manchester so I could come along for the day/evening and drive back home to sleep.

Anyway whatever dates you decide on you can put me down as a confirmed attendee and I shall catch up with you all in 3 and a bit weeks time :D

I've pm'd Martin to ask him if he can attend on either of the new dates - I think it's only fair seeing as he's the reason we're all here :) However, I shall make a decision this weekend and then we'd better get booking or they will all have gone.

It's also worth noting that a lot of the rooms are twin so if the worst comes to the worst, we could always share with someone (£5 per night each then :D) I've emailed Travelodge AGAIN asking how many rooms they have on those dates. Even if they run out of £10 rooms, they will have £26 rooms available - it's only £13 a night if you share. (Blimey - that's me all maths'd out for this week :D)

Whatever we do there will be people who can't come etc etc. I haven't read the other Manchester meeting thread in full, but I reckon if I set a time and date this weekend, then at least some of us can book it and meet up, otherwise it will never happen. We can always have another meet in the New Year (when the sales are on, in a really good shopping area ) or Easter. Hey - when it gets warmer, we could even camp :D Now that's OS and cheap :D
