    HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRAZYCHICK:beer:

Morning everyone, I have posted on another thread but want to say it here too...I hope all of you that was affected by last nights earthquake is ok.

I have been awake since about 4.45am this morning, woke and couldn't go back to sleep. I did think about getting up but knew if I did I would've woken everyone else up so I just lay there! I have already done my housework, got the WM on and sat at the moment watching the lovely Martin on LK;)

Hubby finishes work at midday today after working his notice. He starts his new job on Monday. So during the next four days we are going to have a good sort out and take trips to charity shops with our cast offs! If the weather stays nice I might even get the garden sorted but that does require sunshine, otherwise I don't venture out there:rotfl:

Hi all; just sending (((hugs))) to CRAZYCHIK - hope things work out for you.

Well, I have heard all about this earthquake! On the news it said it could be felt in Southampton but, although I woke up at about 1ish, I don't think it was that that woke me. DH didn't say anthing, either. I must find out if my sister in Lincs heard it.

Well, I've done all my house chores for now and the kitchen floor is drying while I have a coffee and a mooch round MSE. I still have to sort out a bookcase that collapsed yesterday so I'll do that in a minute. DH fixed the shelf back in. It's on the landing so the books are stacked up in not very neat piles at the moment. Then I suppose I'd better do some work, finish off my Mum's Mother's Day card and get her pressies packed up.

CATZ - what a cute puppy! She looks gorgeous.

SQUIDDLY - I hope you get everything sorted out. I lay awake at night thinking about everything I need to get done the following day; it's horrible, isn't it?

ANNIEB and TATTYCATH - hope you both feel better soon.

Well, better go and do something!

    See you later.

    Hello folks,

Have not had time to post over the last few days.

Crazychik I am sorry to hear your news about the split - I hope it's just a temporary thing. And Happy Birthday as well.

Working at 12 - not really looking forward to it as all the 'office politics' have spilled over into the warehouse and everyone is !!!!!ing at each other.

So far I have put the rubbish out. Annoyingly, my (full) washing line came down last night, so now I have to pick up all the dirty clothes and rewash them. Not sure what else I will do this morning, by the time I've done that and sorted my lunch out I will probably have to go.

Sorry if I have not kept up with anyones news - hope you are all well and have a good day

    Morning everyone,

Happy Birthday crazychick :bdaycake: it looks bright and sunny out there for your birthday, have a good one.

We`re a bit tired here today as we were up until gone 3 this morning, our shifts often clash and it`s sometimes the only time that we get to see each other and sit down and have a chat.
We felt the earthquake at 1 am and the monster hound went crazy barking but the oldie didn`t bother - just looked a bit puzzled, the cat was outside and came straight in when i opened the door. What did sound strange was the noise it made as it got closer.

Well cheery news today DH is going in to work later to hand in his notice, he has been for a couple of jobs over the last few weeks and one of the ones he really wanted has phoned to offer him work. The people that bought his old place of work are trying to run it into the ground - probably for the land it stands on as it`s worth a lot and it`s been awful these last few months.
The stress has been so terrible and sometimes keeping it all to myself has made me feel like bursting. We won`t be any better off financially but things will be better in so many other ways, keeping up with the OS is what has kept us and this household going lately, thanks everyone.

Will pop back and catch up later.
Anyone who needs a (((hug))) feel free to help yourselves to one or two.

  • Morning all and happy birthday Crazychik:beer:

Woken by the bed and wardrobes shaking at 1am from the earthquake, and not really slept since then:rolleyes: . Managed to get a load in the WM.

Just rang to book a taxi to take me to the hospital on monday £7:eek: it's only 2.5 miles away!! Hoping that they are going to put me in a walking cast, then arrange for physio so I can try and walk again. 6 weeks off work so far and am sooooo bored.

Going to try and potter around rather than sit all day. DH has a parents evening tonight, so just me and DD, so will probably be fishfingers and chips for tea.

Hugs to all who need them.

    Sharon.

    morning all,

at work so will have to be quick,

crazychick happy birthday, hope you have a good day, sorry to hear about the split, i am in a similar situation at the moment, so if you want to chat i am here
    xx

Hugs to anyone else feeling ill or just down.

what a cute puppy catz, can i have her ?

there has been a bit of a breakthrough with OH, i cracked last night and texted him, he replied saying i don't know what i want yet  which made me mad so i phoned and got no answer, then i phoned his dad and he made OH come to the phone, we had a long chat, and he was blaming all this on me, saying I had kicked him out  I eventually made him see that there is a problem with his depression, which he has never admittied before so that is a breakthrough, he has just phoned this morning and i made him promise that he would think about the Dr, so small steps but at least its a start.

Thank you all so much for the support on here, you are all lovely thanks xx

morning all..........(((((((((((((((((((Hugs if you need one)))))))))))))) especially smokey, have not read the end of yesterdays thread will do so ina mo.

    Happy birthday Crazychick..................

Last night was not a good one, OH could not get off to sleep and then when he did there was an almighty bang and I heard something sliding down the roof...............OH had just gone to sleep and frightened me to death by shooting up in the bed................he them proceeded to decide he wanted to be sick, which he wasn't but did enough maoning about it. I am certain he had a reaction to the tablets, I did not say anything to him when he showed them to me....but I think he had the same thing before when he was prescribed it.

I finally got to sleep around 4am, only to be worken at 8.30 by OH getting up, so both os us feel like a wet rag. However he has an appointment to go back and see the Dr at 12noon................

I was going to Tesco but decided to put it off until he has been to the quacks, I am going to make a list of all the medication he is allergic to, or that gives him a reaction of some kind. He had stomach ulcers caused by medication he was given for his spondylosis years ago..........so he has to be careful what he takes.......some of the medication they have tried for his neck have also affected his stomach so he cannot take any anti inflamatory drugs either.

We are expecting the fire alarm test, it should have been at 10am, its now half past ..........postie has just bought us a letter confirming the increase in rent, it has gone up £3 but they have not put the heating/water payment up, they will review the situation in October. We wait now for the HB and CT notice to come through. We pay almost full CT anyway and our rent was over £200 a month, a lot of the residents only pay around £80 a month. Thats what you get for providing for your old age!!!!

Off for a cuppa and make the bed..........
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Good morning everyone,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRAZYCHIK - hope you have a lovely day xxx Sorry to read about your split, hope it wont ruin your day, and hope you are feeling better than you have the last week or so xxx

Catzine :hello: I love Penny Puppy, she is lovely!!!

Taplady :hello: - good luck tonight xx

mrs-mix - :hello: hope your appointment goes well, glad you told your SIL what for - they need to know!!!

redruby - hope your OH does get to the doctors!!!

AnnieB - hope the tablets work and your BP improves xx

Pooky - i love come dine with me, but they now put it on whilst im doing the school run which is a pain!!!

kyle - hope you are feeling better xx

PP - how are you at the moment?

((HUGS)) to anyone ive missed, its not deliberate but my mind has gone blank and i have 2 LOs here making lots of noice and mess, but they are happy whilst i have a cuppa and a quick pop on here!!!

Jobs to do now are put the BM on, WM going and pick up some of this mess in the front room - will then be making Mothers Day cards with the LOs - we are getting the paints out  Also need to give the bathroom and toilets a swish, but will do that after lunch whilst one of the LOs has his sleep.

The children and i have the dentist this afternoon, i chipped a back tooth a month ago (on nothing at all, a bit of tooth just dropped out in my mouth, very strange:confused: ), and also a bit of filing fell out whilst i was eating an aftereight:rolleyes: so will see what he says - im not getting any pain so will prob have to go back later and have it sorted out - its only my tongue that its getting any probs when it catches on the jaggy bits.

Will be very non OS then, will prob have McDs for dinner - also need to pop and get some petrol and fruit, i always wait for a trip to Plymouth to get petrol, as over the bridge it is much more expensive. I am due a Tesco delivery tonight, but prefer to pick my own fruit and veg so once the dentist/petrol/fruit and dinner are over we are rushing DS to footie training, and then rush home cos today will be the day Tescos arrive early!!

No sign of any earthquake (im just in Cornwall icecubequeen!!!) but we dont get anything, my children so want snow, but no luck!!! - Hope anyone caught up in it is ok xx

Anyway, off to get the painting stuff and cards ready,
    Have a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
