  • Good morning all,

Well, at 1am I thought my bed was possessed as it was shaking so much it woke me up. Turns out it was just an earthquake. :p:D

Happy Birthday Crazychik! Have a wonderful day - though how you top the earth moving for you, I don't know. ;) Oh, just read your post. So sorry to hear about the split. ((hugs))
(((hugs)))) too to Smokybabe, Pen-Pin, Kyle, Hilstep, redruby and anyone else who needs one. Hope you all feel better soon.

The BP reading yesterday was almost as high as last weeks so I am now on tablets for that. I think I will start rattling soon. The side effects with these tablets are a tickly cough and a feeling of light-headedness and dizziness for an hour after taking them. Oh joy. Still, it could be worse so I won't grumble.

No idea what's for dinner for me tonight but it will include lots of veg. Lunch is the rest of the HM soup. I also made a ciabatta in my BREADMAKER (I'm another one who loves my panny) so will have one slice of that with the soup followed by some fruit.

Need to go and dry my hair now before I have my porridge.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday. xx

I have to walk the pup early today so that I can get to our local church and help with the toddler group, at least it will help to take my mind off my dental pain, the work is nearly complete for now just another couple of appointments (fingers crossed) we had the bill yesterday (Ouch!)

Just thought I would show you a piccie of Penny our puppy as you hear so much about her! She loves training sessions if the treats are right!;)

((((hugs)))) to Smokey and family I will be saying prayers for you today

Hope everyone is ok after the earthquake, we didn't feel it here - no earthmoving in Essex! I do remember being in one as a child in Cyprus and all the pans falling out of the kitchen cupboards! My brother slept through it and wouldn't believe us!

Aussie - I am about to cast on my second dishcloth!;):rotfl:

    Have a lovely day!

    Good grief! It worked! :j:rotfl::eek:

    Morning all.

As usual, days not in place of employment are busier than those that are. taking MIL for follow up of cataract op, parking at hospital will no doubt be great fun.

Lots of domestic trivia too, laundry, cleaning etc. Boy! Do I know how to live.

    Morning all

Just popped into say Happy Birthday to Crazychick - Sorry to hear about the split though - is it just a bit of a break or something a little more long term? Anyway hugs to you and the kids - hope they're coping ok.

Nothing else to report -off out with a friend for a bit of retail therapy - but as I'm broke it will be window retail therapy!

Dinner tonight is a trail of something I saw on "come dine with me" the other evening - will post details later if it works.

Hope you all have a great day.

  • Morning all :j

Woke up to a text on my phone this morn saying "did u feel the earthquake?" what earthquake i thought, thought someone was taking the mickey. But come downstairs and put tv on and there on the news was the earthquake. I think im too far down the country in Cornwall, so thats why we didnt feel it. Nothing ever happens in Cornwall! :rotfl:

Eldest DS has decided to get a bit of an attitude on him past few days, he's not listening to anything I tell him and often back chats just to get the last word. He's only 5, but acting like he's 15 like a sulky teenager, not too sure what's brought it on, but im not happy about it, have enough trouble with the youngest DS, without the eldest starting too.

Plan today is young mums group at 10.30, then to my mums house after as im gonna start doing some cleaning for her now I have some spare time. Then off into town to pay bills  and run some errands.

Dinner today is chicken and veg pies, pots and veg.

Time to jump in shower, want to push hoover round and get some washing on before I go so best get on.

Bye for now, hugs to all, Hels xxxxx
