Happy Birthday Crazychic
What happened Haribo? Did the bedbugs start biting? Starting the thread at that time? By the way I have just put my BREADMAKER on:rotfl:
Smokey - best wishes and hugs to you
Where were the tremors? If they were under my bed I would have been too sound asleep to notice last night.
Going to cycle into work once the boys are dropped off at school. According to the weather forecast on the BBC website, today is going to be the only dry day for the rest of the week so am going to make the most of it.
Hope you all have a great day and ((hugs)) to poorlies and those who need one.

:bdaycake: Crazychick, have a good one
Superheavy, I'm sure Martin always says not to spend Tesco vouchers in Tesco, as they are worth 4 times as much elsewhere - I'm sure you'll find something about it on here somewhere
Work today, so casserole in the slow cooker for tea. Need to decide whether I'm doing a red or green slimming day today, so that will decide lunch
Have a good day everyone xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all
It's getting lighter & lighter every morning, I find it easier to get up when it's light. Katy is looking for another job, as she doesn't know whether or not she will keep this one. She has promised her Aunt that she can come over with her 5 children if she gets a permenant job, I don't see how she will be able to afford to support all of them on her wage. She & Aunty were having a row on the phone last night, Katy is obviously having problems explaining to her Aunt why she hasn't already got herself sorted out & booked their flights. Katy was shouting over & over last night 'Aunty Aunty, me lookee lookee long time & me no find'. I'm beginning to get a clearer picture now of what is going on & no wonder she is stressed.
Hugs to Smokey & everyone else
Hester

Good morning! The earth definitely moved here  I was woken thinking BR had built a high-speed rail link just outside
DD felt it too; DS slept through and is now chuntering. He's hoping that it will have damaged the road so badly that the teachers can't get in and he'll have a day off school :rotfl:

Many Happy Returns Crazychik
Didnt know anything about the earthquake till the news this morning so no earth movement for me.
Didnt get to go out yesterday as OH wasnt home till 8.30 as the Blackwall tunnel had shut. He is helping one of our drivers at the moment and isnt actually earning any money so hope some 'real' work turns up soon.
Dont feel too bad about last night as am off out to lunch with another friend today, we are going to the pizza restaurant that I went to last week which did lovely cheesecake so that is dessert sorted.
Cleared out DD's bedroom yesterday but didnt get time to actually clean and hoover it, not sure if will get time today as I really need to do some paperwork before lunch and ironing when I return.
Nice quick easy dinner of sausages and chips tonight.
Have a great day, oh and Superheavy - you can sell vouchers on ebay.

Morning all
Smokey sorry for your news, hugs to you. HUGS to anyone else who wants one.
Happy birthday CRAZYCHICK  .
My body clock is really shot. Went to bed at 7.30 as I was shattered in the spare room. Was wide awake at 2am, so I got up and had some breakfast, watched some TV and put some more washing on.
DS is still really pale and not quite right so I shall keep him off for another day. Last time he had this I sent him back too soon and had to go and collect him from school at lunchtime.
Off to have a shower and hairwash. Then will hang the washing out. Meals will be whatever we fancy today, probably lots of toast.
Have a good day all

Good Morning All
Thank you for my birthday wished (you know me HJ - I like to be different) :rotfl:
Today, will be spent at work, then at the crem after (6yrs ago today grandad died), then I haven't a clue what me & the kids will do later.
Me & OH split up on Sunday, so Ive been spending this week, trying to sort things out. Ive been busy so really not had chance to dwell on things.
Had a flat tyre on the car Monday, thanks Dlb for the loan of the compressor, sadly it didnt work, and as it turns out, my wheel is buckled, hence why the tyre wouldn't go up, so now I need a new wheel. Priced one up at £152 (trade price at that). Im off workt hurs & fri, so will spend my time off phoning around scrap yards & sorting my bills out.
Kids felt the tremors this morning. I thought it was the cats playing chase in the bedroom & banging the bed! Kids woke me up by shouting, saying wow - that wind is strong its shaking the house! Yer right I replied, go back to sleep! how guilty do I feel now I know! lol.
Anyway, will go & jump in the shower.
Take care All

Morning all,
just a quick one at the moment as need to get moving - exhausted from not sleeping properly (then falling asleep at 6am & oversleeping....I can't stop my brain going round with all the things I need to do in the next week & no time to do them in...Feeling a bit stressed.
However, is put into perspective by Smokey's post..... (((((hugs)))))
However I don't have to go into the office this morning or tomorrow afternoon so I can snatch a little time there to write essay. Scuzz - you should try my office then - it's like a sauna most of the time! You don't get warm by throwing boiling water over yourself..
take care all, catch up laterLive your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0
