I wanna be mortgage free!

Right well, I now appear to have acquired OH's cold!! How rude? Back to work tomorrow even though I kinda feel as though I'd like a bit longer to recover...but I guess the fact I WANT to stay off suggests I'm probably fit to go back to work. Doh!
Anyhoo...I have finally heard where my classes are up too - and have managed to do some planning. Some of it is a little vague though and kinda depends on whether laptops are available. lol.
I'm straight up until Wednesday though - and wednesday I have an idea what I'm doing - just kinda need to get myself sorted resources wise. Should muddle through next week ok though. Then I have Sat - Monday to get myself sorted for after half term....then its down to Wales on Tuesday with OH to move him in his flat and show him the sites.
Didn't got to uni yesterday which I should have done (I figure I haven't been going to school so probably shouldn't go to uni either). So I have no idea what I'm meant to be doing. Went on the website for the module and was VERY confused. Emailed the tutor though to try and get some info from her. Fingers crossed she can make it make more sense.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Had a lovely day at school today. Wasn't looking forward to it AT ALL! But the kids were lovely. All my classes made a massive fuss over me and said how much they missed me!! My year 7's started cheering and clapping in the corridor...bless them! :rotfl:
I can't decide if it's because I'm a good teacher or if it's because I'm rubbish and that's why they want me back!!! :rotfl: I did find out the truth actually. It's because I give merits. One of the kids was telling me they were long overdue some merits! Ha ha ha.
Anyhoo...I feel as though I'm pretty organised for the rest of the week. I'm feeling rather lazy so I'm pleased I don't have to do too much! It's all about the book marking this week I think. Boo!! That and setting my performance management targets on Friday! Hmmm...Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I've been tucked up in bed for the last hour....is that wrong?? I'm just so tired. Really looking forward to Friday though...half term RULES!
Schools been stressing me out though. I've taken over another teachers classes as they moved from yr 10 to 11. He's told everyone he's taught them XY and Z when he hasn't. So the kids can't do their mock exams. I have to teach em loads in about 4 lessons. It's never happening. The kids were almost in tears today....and to be honest - I don't blame them.
I feel awful for them....sooooo tomorrow it's all about me chalk and talking them through a few key points. It's going to be a bit of a nightmare if I'm honest.
I've got laptops for half so they can just crack on and revise (yeah right) and those that actually do want to learn can move to the front. I'm not even wasting my time trying to get everyone to do it. I'm just going to tell them I can check what they've been doing on the program they're meant to be on (which is actually true).
Anyway, it'll get sorted. We shall see what happens I guess. Fingers crossed they get there. It's hard work though when the class ranges from A - G grades. I can't really differentiate at such short notice and I have no real resources to help other than powerpoints and animations to illustrate stuff. We'll see how they go.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Great news and I hope all went well with the kids too?0 -
Thanks guys. The kids seemed happier yesterday so fingers crossed they can crack on over half term and they'll be ok. I know some will and I know others won't - it will be interesting.
I got my student loan annual statement this morning - I now owe £25'532.42! It's going to take my entire working life to pay it off...:rotfl: It's annoying but not worth overpaying as it stands.
I also still owe £2'289.32 on the B&Q credit card. I'm just paying minimum payments on that till January though because it's 0% interest. Then I'll either shift it to another 0% place or I'll just pay it off (the money is in my ISA).
Was woken up last night at 4.35am by my drunken husband returning home!! He was trying to take his pants off to climb into bed fell over and head butted me. Ouch!! Not my ideal way to be woken up. He woke up for the loo before and was falling around all over the place. You gotta love him. His voice has totally gone and he's going to be ROUGH!
We are going for tea at my friends tonight. He's going to fix my OH's bike and then his wife is going to cook us all tea. So it's my turn to have some fun - he's going to be driving. It's the couple be pig sit for.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right, time to sort out some sort of to do list for the weekend.
- [STRIKE]Do as many washes as possible Four lots done[/STRIKE]
- Clean kitchen
- Plan year 7 lessons
- Plan year 8 lessons
- Plan year 9 lessons
- Plan year 10 Core lessons
- Plan year 10 Additional lessons
- Plan year 11 Core lessons
- Plan year 11 Additional lessons
- Clean desk
- File invoices
It's just a get through as much as possible list rather than a MUST do list. I'm really struggling to think of anything else I need to do to be honest.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
