I wanna be mortgage free!

I know...it's odd how tiring it is. Although I made the best Shepherds pie I've ever EVER made. It was amazing and I wish I had enough room to eat it again! Ha ha.
I find posting my to do list a real help...keeps me focused oddly. Right time to pack my bag!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right first day back done and dusted and now I'm not sure I want that job. OH has been called about a PhD which would mean he'd move away during the week and we'd see each other at weekends. He'd be living near my sis though so I could see more of my family in the holidays....the caravan idea is back on.
As for the job...well I'm really excited about teaching and seeing the kids again. Makes me wonder if I'm quite ready to turn my back on teaching. Hmmm....
Still, lots to do - seating plans for all my lessons, write up notes in my planner so they are pretty and figure out what I need to do to get my self straight. Might work on my SOW tomorrow if I get half a chance! I brought it home just in case.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well done twink, glad it went well.
I meet one of my groups today and apart from telling one girl to sit up and tell them all to turn off their mobiles (my biggest hate) they were fine. We'll see......0 -
Glad to hear everythings going well:)

Right, today has been different. My timetable got changed AGAIN! So on Friday I no longer have a lesson P3 and P2 I have Yr 11 instead of Yr 7. This is fine except leaves me with one lesson too few and HOD with one lesson too many. Sooooo....we have agreed to team teach his yr 11 class one lesson a week. When asked what this would involve he said, I'll teach you just do what I tell you! :j One less lesson to plan and no doubt it will be small group work and coursework catch up! Suits me fine for a last lesson of the day! I'm made up!
OH has an interview down at Bangor on Thursday over his PhD as well...it all sounds very promising and we are crossing our fingers he gets it. Would leave me Mon - Thurs to do school work of an evening and then we'd see each other all weekend. To be honest we dont really see each other during the week as it is. Plus I'd get to see my sister more!! Woo hoo!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well he got the PhD! :j It comes with a full NERC grant and all fees paid! It's an amazing opportunity and we are so excited about it! Yey! Now then, we just have to start looking for a caravan and caravan site for round Bangor and working out finances.
OH is bouncing off walls that he got it bless him! Dr twinklie! Hmmm...I never thought I'd be married to a doctor! Ha ha
It's all go here today - the shed is going up at a fair old rate of knots. Brick work should be finished by the end of Monday and the roof is going up on Tuesday I think! Madness. I'm going to try and get all my school work done today and have a lie in with my OH tomorrow. A day of rest I think is needed round here. Brilliant news, twinklie! Glad it's all looking so bright, it could be fun searching for a caravan and nice site.
And the lie-in sounds a great plan.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -

Good to hear your OH can now start the PhD; best wishes on the weekday/weekend lifestyle too - it can be tough. OH and I did so for about 7yrs and it can be tricky to merge both "lives" in terms of having your things with you and freedom but I guess you thought it all through so enjoy!0
