Its a 3 year one part time so no such luck...but cheers earthgirl. I'm hoping to plow through it as best as I can! Bit like a plaster...do it quick and it's painless (so the theory goes.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi Twinklie,
Good luck with the assignments, I gave up on my msc and I wish i'd tried a bit harder to keep it up. Hope you get it done quickly!:D
Me, too - I was working on another MSc (to add to an MA etc) when I decided I'd rather read Agatha Christie than constantly have a reading list of a few text books and masses of articles, internet researching etc. I couldn't understand how people on OU Masters courses only had to read the official OU readers - can anyone shed any light?!
Good luck with it, Twinklie - keeping up with it in small-ish chunks sounds like a top plan.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
Not a clue how they only read the OU readers ttbg! I'm having a day off from it today (OH at home) by working on the house instead. Then I'll start writing the 2nd essay tomorrow (OH at work). Do you sense a pattern??
Having said that about OU though, I showed my OH my assignments and he thinks they are rubbish and pathetic! He said they are written with no substance to them (the actual assignments) and read like the person writing it is trying to make themselves sound clever! He said whomever wrote it is a pompous !!!!!! Made me laugh...but I totally agree with him. They are shocking!
Still, going to clean out the yard today and he's going to finish his half of the study. That means that I'll be able to file stuff again and organise my half of the study then. I also have a MS later to sort out. Busy busy!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Got a MS to carryout and OH has unexpectedly taken the day off work to work on the house so the plan for assignments is on hold I think for today. I might start writing my 2nd essay this afternoon though dependent on what OH is doing. If it's noisy I'll just call it a day and see if I can help. If not, I might watch a movie or play my new Wii game!
I'm rubbish I know! Still, must get ready to go out for the MS.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

You naughting essay dodger! It's always someone else's fault why you can't knuckle down and get on with it.

Brilliant idea...even more to put into work dodging! I'm game...anyone else? :rotfl:
I'm so annoyed. Just done a MS for £10...to come home and discover I've just missed the opportunity to do two MS's for £10 each. Grr  ... I'm gutted.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Could be worse... I popped out to do a lunch MS last week only to come back to report my results and find that RE had mysteriously released this job for me! When I emailed to find out they said they "had confused it with a different branch in the same locality." Apparently I'll get reimmbursed but no fee, which means no printing or travel expenses (luckily I walked!). Well I'm fuming... if us MSers got the wrong branch we'd get nothing!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
I'm having a few probs with Abai to be honest...can't submit my findings. I've emailed them but it worries me that I might not get paid. Fingers crossed they sort whatever the problem is and they havent released the job. I'll cry if that happens.
Managed to get it sorted thanks to clever folks on the MS thread! Also managed to nab me 3 pizza jobs! Now does anyone do an Indian??Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

A couple of extra things to add to todays to do list. Main one is to create and update the MS ledger (thanks to ukmonkey for that).
Then the first part of the day revolves round putting a rocket up OH's bottom and getting him to go do stuff! He doesn't realise the plans I have for him today! Ha ha haReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
