I wanna be mortgage free!

I've filled out all the forms to send off to the IR...not sure what to put for expected income from it. I figure £100 should be enough...it's only a guesstimation anyhoo isn't it?
Going to finish the forms of later and send them off tomorrow along with a couple of other bits I need to post. I need to register with Retail Eyes I think. There was loads of gambling type MS's yesterday but someone else is MSing in my area and stole them all! How rude!!
It's just making me feel useful and it got me out of bed this morning (and I've already done the shopping). It's paying the little bills for me at the mo, like tv license and hopefully mobile phone bill. When at school it won't help much, but hopefully there will be lots of weekend jobs popping up! I'm nearly at £50 on yougov anyway, so that will help.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right, another MS to do today but I'm housebound for a fair old while yet. Waiting in for the mattress to be delivered. So far, no news.
However, the worlds largest composting bin turned up pretty early on. I ordered it because it was free from the council. Part of me was thinking about selling it on, but I think I'll give it to a family member who has a big garden instead.
I've become obsessed with trying to get MS's in my area now - have registered with quite a few places. Trying to find them seems more time consuming than actually doing them though. Ah well.
Need to make a few calls later too...to arrange delivery of fridge-freezer amongst other things.
Oh and in other news...the ttc thing has reared its head again. Looks like we are officially trying now.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just had a quote from the builder about the brick built shed/utility room that we want. It's less than half what we thought it was going to be!!! I'm very excited by this. Might mean another couple of months of no OP on the mortgage though.
It should add value to our house as well which is ace...and it means I have somewhere to kick oh out too! yey! And an inside space to dry my washing...but also will have space for a tumble dryer! I'm so excited!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Good news on the quote, and added value to the property. Definitely a good time to get work done whilst builders etc are not busy.0 -
Had a productive day today all in all. The kitchen is immaculate if I do say so myself. We managed to change the mattresses over. Old one is now in the living room and new one is on a fully made up and clean bed. :j
Called to get a delivery date for the fridge/freezer and that is coming on Thursday - very exciting. So we have phoned the council and they are going to come and take away the old one on Saturday! Yey!
They are also coming on monday to take away the old mattress and the bath! I'm very excited. I will have space in my house again! I'm getting lots of new toys and hopefully (fingers crossed) I won't have to buy this stuff again for a very long time!
So now I need to come up with a list for the rest of the week because I've no mystery shops so I should be productive.- Look at MSc assignments - at least come up with a timetable for what needs doing.
- Clean the shower
- [STRIKE]Clean the bathroom[/STRIKE] Just need to do the shower still and clean round after the bath is removed.
- Clean the kitchen floor - on Saturday after the fridge-freezer has gone.
- [STRIKE]Sort through clothes and take out things I'm not going to wear again - be realistic and don't hold on to things for sentimental reasons. [/STRIKE]half way though - 2 bags for charity shop and 4 items to list on ebay. Trouble is I'm only a size 8 and these never sell! Grr.
- [STRIKE]Take clothes to charity shop Doing on Thursday[/STRIKE]
- Clean the office
- [STRIKE]Hoover the stairs[/STRIKE] Did the landing, living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom as well.
- Take the fridge freezer out into the yard
- [STRIKE]Go to doctors - asthma check up[/STRIKE] Back on steroids...boo
- [STRIKE]Call council to collect fridge/freezer, mattress and bath.[/STRIKE] £15.50 all in all...not bad!
- Put fridge/freezer out on saturday for collection.
- Put mattress and bath out on Monday for collection.
- [STRIKE]Pay council for collections.[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sort the bins and recycling[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sort out meter readings[/STRIKE]Cheapest month yet!
- Finish tax forms and send off
- [STRIKE]Sort out OH's tax bill Doing Thursday[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sort OH's NI bill Doing Thursday[/STRIKE]
I think thats probably enough to see me through to the end of the week. Especially since I'll be depressed when I get in from the docs tomorrow - nurse always tells me off. And then Thursday will be a bust waiting in for the delivery....it's a 7 - 7 time frame! Nice.
Cleaning is brilliant. OH just found my digital camera and ipod which I thought were lost forever and I haven't seen since January!! Very exciting and just in time for the new nephew! YeY!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I just counted up our loose change jar...£94! Very impressed with it. I'm trying to decide where to put it. Was thinking I might add £6 then it's 100 to OP with. But I've a feeling as OH's NI bill comes to £93 something, he'll want to steal it for that. Hmmm....
I shall she what I can talk him into later! On the plus side I just got a parcel from Amazon! Woo hoo! It's 2 books I ordered!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Must be a teacher thing - I can't do anything without an ordered list!

I totally can't cope without a list. If I go to the supermarket without a shopping list I panic! I end up buying as little as possible and running away! Ha ha. The good thing though, is that feeling you get as you start to make progress!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
