Feel like I'm starting to see some progress now. The builders have been in touched and are booked in to start work the last Monday is August for about 2 weeks. Going to cost in the region on 1.7K all in all...so there goes any hopes of OPing for a while!
Anyhoo, FIL has agreed to help OH fix the soil pipe and fit the new bathroom when it arrives next weekend...which I'm more than excited about! He's also agreed to help dig up the yard and lay the foundations of the shed thing with OH. YEY! Think OH told him I'm refusing to give any grandkids till the house is sorted! Ha ha ha.
I really will be happy to just have one finished room rather than lots of partially done bits and pieces. It's pretty frustrating. But still, I feel like we are getting there... albeit very slowly!
On the plus side though...today has been a NSD! Yey! And I'm off to check for any MS jobs that may have appeared.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Which makes me think...if we hadn't have been saving to OP the mortgage, we wouldn't of had the cash lying around to pay for these things.
IMAGINE....how much debt would we be in now?? This made me feel quite good about it all actually! :j
Top way to look at it, well done :TMortgage started May 08 @ £144,499 for 35 yrs:eek: Must get mortgage sub £100k by xmas 2011

Bit of a frustrating morning. OH convinced himself that the council were coming for the mattress and bath tomorrow rather than today...so he didn't put them out. THEY CAME TODAY! It's rather upsetting if you ask me!! We only get 3 free collections per year. That and the fridge freezer (even though we had to pay for both) count as 2 of our 3 free collections.
So if they do agree to come again it's another £5.50 down the drain AND the last of our collections for 12 mths. Hope we don't need to get rid of anything else!
I'm trying to sort out my uni assignment today as well and as of yet I'm not have a tremendous amount of luck!! It's very confusing...the people doing it clearly have no idea what they are talking about! Very frustrating as the assignment doesn't actually make sense. Part of me is now wondering if I actually want to do an MSc anyway! Grrr...Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Dare I ask what the assignment is about or should I just keep well away!0

Ha ha ha....it's organising some portfolio for each transition point during NQT year...which is fine. But the structure and what they are asking us to do with it doesn't make sense. I'm almost looking forward to going on to the essays now!!!
In fact I don't understand how any of this is MSc level work! It's just stupid.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
