I wanna be mortgage free!

I had to go out to see some friends last night (stayed in chatting at her house) there were quite a few folk I'd not seen for a while and it was brill. The wine was a flowing and laughter was heard all night.
Unfortunately, I'm now very VERY hungover. My list of things to do is huge as always and my motivation is zero. Bed for me most of today I reckon. SO so poorly. My own silly fault I know. I've been feeling unwell for the last 2 days (bad bad cold) so last night probably wasn't a good idea. But I've not seen that lot for AGES!! Since WELL before I started work in September, one I've not see for 2 years and the other 8!!! Madness.
Still, I'm sure as soon as this banging in my brain stops I'll get a move on and do something constructive!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Progress not Perfection0 -
I'm not hungover any more but I'm still not well. The shower is STILL not done. Although much progress has been made today.
I've spent the day firstly in the launderette, followed by shopping followed by lots of other things that needed doing but somehow don't actually help me get any work done. Doh!
So I'm currently lesson planning which is a bit grim. Gonna be stuck at school on Thursday until silly o'clock due to prize evening. I finish teaching period 3 (12.30) and thats me done until 7pm (unless I have a cover lesson). How grim...then I'm supervising kids.
It's too far to go home for 2 hours, so I'm just gonna stay at school and try and cain some work. Might get the coursework the kids are ment to hand in on Tuesday done and dusted marking wise. Saves me doing it over the weekend then or taking it home. Which will be nice. Hmmmm....we shall see. One of the other teachers has invited me to her house for tea, but I'm just thinking I'd rather be proper sad and work through. At least I'll be a bit ahead of myself then I reckon! We shall see.
Anyway, I'm more or less organised for tomorrow now....I hope. And for Tuesday (I think) so fingers crossed its 2 early nights in a row....or I'm sure I'm gonna end up really ill and end up off. I'm at that tipping point!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just had to share that one of my yr 7's managed to set his hair on fire today!
Fortunately it wasn't serious but he did burn his head a bit and his hair was singed. He was stood on his own not surrounded by anyone and neither of us are quite sure how it happened...bless his cottons. Tell you what though it woke me up a bit when I was starting to feel tired around 2.45pm.
He can be a pain sometimes but he was really good for the rest of the lesson. A tactic I should adopt in future possibly!! Ha ha ha. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Are you trying to imply autocatalytic ignition????
Had to laugh at your description :rotfl:0 -
I think he just bent down to scratch his leg or foot and stuck his head in the flame in the process. He was in my lesson again today and was fine. Bit red in the face and his hairs a bit short down one side but he's fine. ha ha ha ha
Today's drama was based around one of my yr 11 falling off his stool backwards while yawning and stretching. He didn't half crack his head!! He wasn't being naughty or anything....tell you what though, none sat silly on their stools after that.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Twinklie we need more scientists and engineers (I'm biased I admit); but when we say make science fun, I'm not certain this is what we had in mind :eek:0

Unfortunately no funny happenings have occurred since my last lot of dramas. However, I was sent home today to go to the doctors and have been told to rest tomorrow. Very bad chest infection which has flared up my asthma. Boo.....
So I'm already having nightmares about the state of my room come MONDAY! ARGH! Just thinking about all the things I haven't locked away. Moan moan.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Twinklie
Do take care of yourself and don't over-do things. A quick call to your colleagues tomorrow should at least mean you can then relax a bit about your "stuff" not being locked away?0
