    lol...I know what you mean.

The trouble is we have to stop. We weren't goanna do anything other than the shower cubicle, because we only have a small little house and with me having school it's just too much to do anymore. Also Mr Twinklie is working 3 days a week leaves at 7.30am and returns at 7pm at night. And is doing uni too! Soooooo it's a bit of a nightmare.

Anyway the OH is going to kick those students out today and change the locks so fingers crossed we start to get somewhere with that....it would cheer me up no end.

Right next couple of days I shall:

Mark coursework (God help me) Marked one piece....oh dear! One still to go. I've done 11/24. So nearly done.

Right time to try getting OH up again.

Just a quick update...the evil student boy has gone. Yey! :j So thats good. Looks like he cleared out yesterday after my OH turned up at his place of work and freaked him out. Woo hoo.

So now he and his mate are changing the locks (just to be safe) and then it's time to get a skip organised. Ick!!

Thanks. My problem is that I take it in small snatch size pieces...if I used my time more productively I'd be ok...but I'm just lazy. Ha ha

OOOh just had a letter from ScottishPower saying they are reducing our payments by £8.33 per month! Yey! Thats exciting. I'm pretty chuffed with that. Even if we've had our heating on for the last 3 days solid. Doh!

Nevermind. Thats cheered me up anyway.
    Right....now for those equipment orders.

So in a bid to help myself get more organised next term I've written myself a homework/marking timetable. Lets see if I can stick to it now.

I think I need to do a reprographics type timetable too. I always seem to be running behind on that one and cause myself unnecessary stress.

Anyone else got any school related timesaving tips that they do to reduce stress and save time that you give over to unnecessary stupid stuff....otherwise known as chasing your tail.

Hiya Twinkle we havent met and I am sheepishly putting my head around the MFW door as I have neglected it somewhat.:o

Glad to see that you have settled into your new job.

Will keep popping back to see how you are getting on.

I too would appreciate any ideas of how to stay on top of reprographics especially since we have been told that as on January all of ours have to be submitted electronically to the print room:eek: I teach in FE.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Welcome LouiseJ. There are so many of us on here from Education. Surely we must be able to help each other!! I'm trying my best to get organised because I'm sure most of the stress comes from myself and a lack of organisation.

Mind you, compared with others in the dept, I know I'm not that bad. Ha ha ha. The shower is still no where near ready. Still only as far as we got with it on Friday really. Since the OH was doing the job round at the other house for my mum and dad, and managed to get his mate to change the locks for us. Then he had to pay him in kind by doing a job round at his.

I'm a bit annoyed with my father in law actually. We booked him to help us with this over 2 mths ago. He said he was free and wouldn't be a problem. However, this week he's either been in bed or going out on runs. He's spent a total of 4 hours here. He's gone out on a day trip to the lakes today, despite saying yesterday that he'd be here all day.

So my OH is running round like a headless chicken trying to get everything done. Hmmmm....he's currently at the tip then going to buy things he needs to finish off the plumbing side of things.

    Right back to my list.

Ok feeling the pressure now. I'm printing out some stuff so thought I'd moan on here....lol.

My OH has agreed to go round to his folks for tea at 6pm. He's still not back to do anything on the shower yet. AND, we are washing up as part of the deal which means we won't leave until at least 8/9pm. Grrrr....

Also, my folks just told me they'll be round in an hour. Both of them. So thats a pain in the bum cos I still have so much work to do for tomorrow.

I've got loads of the day to day stuff done but don't feel ready to teach tomorrow in the slightest. I know coming on here doesn't help. I also know I know what I am teaching so I don't know quite why I'm overreacting in a stressy way. Still, though, I wanted to spend the last day of my hols doing odd jobs getting ready for school and chilling. Not feeling pressured and rushed. Grrrr....
