I wanna be mortgage free!

Right pac code ordered so that I can get a new phone deal - O2 didn't even try and keep me. I'm actually quite shocked.
I want a HTC desire and I don't really want to pay more than £20 per month and I want a free phone, at least 300 mins and 300 - 400 text messages. Ideally some form of internet etc as well. Hmmm....come on pac code. I want a new phone!!!
There is so much choice I'm struggling to figure out what is a good deal. ARGH...help.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi Twinklie, sorry to hear you haven't been feeling too good - hope you find out why soon. Sorry to be dense but is an HTC Desire a phone?? I'm with 3 - have you looked into them? Free phone - just got a new one, SE Zylo which I like, they tend to do Nokia and SonyE, not sure what else. I pay £15 a month for internet, 75 minutes of calls and 600 texts. That might not be enough mins for you but they have different combinations in their deals usually. I've been with them a while now and am quite happy with them, good luck finding a deal there are so many out there.0 -
Thanks...I am on the google trail.
I have a slightly more detailed idea of what is wrong with me. I have some lumps in my lungs. Hopefully they are the signs of past infections...but there is a 40 per cent chance they are cancer as well. I'm thinking positively myself given I'm in such a low risk category. But God knows what it is...and what it means for my career. I do feel really rubbish though.
Fingers crossed my appointment comes through soon, thats all I can hope.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh dear thats pants - keep on at them if you don't get an appointment soon. Its horrible to have that hanging over you and not knowing. Sending you positive thoughts and a virtual hug [if I may] Teapot x0 -
Hug away...hug away!
I'm just waiting for the appointment to come through, should be this week or early next week. I should actually be seen within 6 weeks. But whatever, I'm not going to worry about it. First up is DH's appointment to find out if he needs surgery on his elbow. Then it's Belle to see if she needs an x-ray. Then it'll be my turn. I would like to wish you all the best - you are being very brave and sensible to try not to think about stuff, but it is very hard to actually do. Sending you all positive thoughts
Squirrel:jPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Cheers ears. I'm not brave...I see it as being a realist. If I was really ill, I couldn't do anything about it anyway...so no point worrying about it. Well, at least not until I'm in the doctors office.
I've too much other stuff to keep me busy in the mean time rather than sitting and dwelling on it.
OFSTED are due soon so I'm trying to keep on top of my marking as well as everything else. Yawn.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi Twinklie, I thought I'd not heard much of you lately, sounds like you are having a rough time at the moment, sometimes everything seems to happen at once doesn't it. I'm sending you all get well soon vibes, look after yourself and best wishes, newgirly xMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Hi twinkle, I hope you, your DH and Belle are ok and the doc can see you soon.
Re the HTC Desire - my DH has one and loves it but I thought I'd better let you know that the battery only lasts a day really. I've got a Samsung Galaxy which is lovely but that's just my opinionWe're both with 3 and am happy with them but I think DH had to pay for the Desire.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

I've finally ordered my phone. I have gone with the HTC Desire in the end. I'm so excited!!!
Went back to the docs. More perscription charges - steriod nose spray, anti sickness tablets. I'm off to get my bloods done tomorrow as well - so I'm not going in tomorrow. By the time I get them done - go home for food (it's a fasting blood test so I'm just onto my last drink now), and drive all the way into work, I will only have one and a half lessons left. So rather than killing myself, I'm taking the whole day, going to get plenty of rest and relax and go back to school happy and healthy on Wednesday.
I say healthy...ha ha. Still, I'll be better equipt after a slightly more relaxed day rather than running round like a headless chicken. I do kinda feel like I'm skiving slightly - but DH yelled at me and assured me that I'm not. I hate feeling like I'm taking advantage.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
