Right a busy last day off! Up early so car could go into the garage...this ended up costing up £675 in the end!!! Went to do a mini shop for some school clothes (needed pants) and did a MS as well. Managed to clean the bathroom in between all that and see FIL and DH's grandma. Phew!!

Cannot believe I have to go back to school tomorrow. Boo. Not a happy bunny. It sucks. Got a phone call from HOD before though asking if I wanted any time in the meeting tomorrow! OMG!!! I forgot I'm 2nd in dept now. I've not planned or prepared anything! OOPhs. I'm wondering if I should have now. :rotfl:

Shocking weekend. I'm really upset. DH went on a leaving do on Friday and I asked him to not get drunk (I knew he would) and to stay downstairs if he was so I can get some sleep. SOOOO...5am he falls on top of me in bed and wakes me up scaring the life out of me. I gave up on the idea of sleeping in the bed and went downstairs to find he'd let the dog out and she'd peed everywhere...and was sat in a sea of stuff happily chewing on DH's fav hat.

So 5am lots of cleaning commenced. Then finally got some sleep, at 6.30 am Belle sat up and went NUTS barking her head off because DH was drunkenly stumbling about upstairs making loads of noise and upset her. Took me ages (at least half an hour) to settle her down. Then I had to get up at 8.30 am anyway so that I could go to the hairdressers. When I got back the dog had broken out of her pen and AGAIN peed everywhere and pulled everything off the chairs (not chewing anything though) and sat happily chewing DH's hat again! Ha ha.

I tried waking him up but no, I ended up sorting it all out myself...again. 2.30 pm I FINALLY got him out of his pit. About 3 pm we realised DH's wallet was gone. So then we had to report it to the police and get in touch with the people he was out with (he didn't even know who and that took a while to track them down). Contact the places he'd been and the taxi company. Then it was a case of canceling his cards.

The upsetting thing about it is that we were meant to be going to see MUSE my fav band EVER and we paid £100 for these tickets last September. But because of the state he was in we ended up not going. So that was £100 down the pan. I'm really gutted.

I'm still poorly as well which just rubs salt in the wounds. I'm getting so fed up of it now. I'm half hoping they find a bit of something on the xray (nothing serious obviously) just so they can diagnose what is wrong with me and give me some sort of treatment that IS going to work.

Honestly, I'm just feeling pretty down at the minute and very under-appreciated. Not to mention the handbrake on the car has gone so it's back in the garage on Monday...£45 per hour JUST to diagnose the problem. I'm so frustrated. Grrr.

  • Sorry to hear that you haven't had a good weekend.

Maybe when he has recovered you can sit down and tell him exactly how you feel.

Men, more trouble than they are worth sometimes :D

I am sat here feeling sorry for myself too (tonsilitis)

Take care and tell him how you are feeling. Men don't seem to pick up on things and need telling sometimes

    (((Big Hugs)))

Oh no...he knows. I told him in no uncertain terms how I felt yesterday. I guess my main feeling is disappointment.

  • Ahh Rubbish.

The dog only did what you can expect from her, i would have really had something to say too if my DH did that. At least the dog did some of your revenge for you by chewing his hat. :rotfl:

She also pooed on his DJ case. Ha ha. Now that did make me smile. She had a proper sulk with him yesterday as well and kept ignoring him in favour of me. I was very pleased and I'm taking it that I've trained her well. :D

  • That is really funny and a laugh is just what i need this morning.

2nd in dept stuff - i used to always have a little slot too. I was in charge of KS3 strategy and student teachers, so i would use it to talk to them about things related to that. To be honest, at the first meeting when you haven't done the role, if nothing has changed then there is probably not much to say.

I'm sure it will all be ok when you get in the swing of it.

Yeah it will be. Its just the lady that has the role normally (who I'm covering) is a do what I say and not what I do kind of person. It drives me nuts! I would never ask people to do something I wouldn't do first or as well. It's just very frustrating. Still, give it a week or two and I'll be on it. I have an extra free and I'm in charge of KS3 and the student teachers as well. I'm looking forward to the challenge. But we've only had one good student teacher in the last 6!! Again, I think cause for concerns should have been put in but were not. This I intend to rectify...we aren't helping us or THEM if we don't highlight things early enough.

I really want to wow them with my aceness in the hope that they'll find me a full time promotion for next year! Ha ha...well a girl can dream.

Well guess who has been busy and tired...lol. Suddenly no updates. Everything is fine, but DH now has what I've had it would seem. He's been told he has a viral infection and has been signed off for a week. I'm just tired...and still clearly not fully recovered myself. I don't really have much else to say if I'm honest. Boring boring.
