  • The results coming out have confused me. Aren't they normally out on a Thusday???

I have felt like it is the wrong day all of yesterday and today. I even said to DH yesterday how come something that was on the telly was on again when it was on at the weekend and he thought i was being utterly stupid as it had been a whole week.

Yeah it is normally a Thursday. I'm assuming because we are all going back so early this year that the results need to be out to sort out places at college etc. I'm not really sure to be honest. I'm just glad we've done so well. :D

Right I must be feeling better I've just signed up for some Mystery Shops. I have 3 lined up but they aren't until September. AND only 2 involve me eating! :D

Today is going to involve me working on my SOL I think. I will make some serious headway with it by the end of today if it kills me. DH and I are struggling financially so payday CANNOT come fast enough. In fact...I want September's pay cheque though which will include my pay rise. I just want to know what my take home will be! :D

Managed to do loads yesterday, took puppy to town with DH so he could buy a teapot and get a coffee. Belle and I stood outside and got lots of cuddles and attention (she did...I didn't :rotfl). We cleaned the kitchen, took puppy to Pets at Home and bought puppy some food. We also went food shopping and just had a general sort out.

Right today has been a much slower start but my mum has brought round my money my folks owe me (they are on £100 per month repayment option to replace the money I lent them and the money my mum stole). I intend to do some more school stuff though since I need to be organised for when I go back.

I have to take the car in for it's MOT on Wednesday as well. It's having a CAM belt change apparently so that's going to set me back £330. Boo. It's like I'm leaking money at the moment.

Oh I don't know if I've posted about the details of it all before. It happened in 2005. It's what stopped me going back to live in the US again. Mum got my credit card and maxed it out without telling me. Because I had to pay that off I couldn't afford to go back and had to stay here. It was wanting to get out of my parents house etc that pushed me into finding a "career" which is when I thought about teaching.

It was a horrible time but a lot of good came out of it...I met DH for instance. Still, since all that I kinda feel like I'm on my own family wise (with the exception of DH etc). Thats why it wouldn't cause me any problems to move abroad. The further away I am the better in a weird way.
