Right kids, I'm up bright and early. Already taken Belle out for her morning walk and packed DH off to work. We are living separately this week unfortunately even though it's the holidays. There has been a bit of a saga with Belle and the neighbour so I'm staying at our "home" to get Belle settled ready for when I go back to work. It totally sucks that I'm missing a week in Wales but there is nothing I can do about it.
Went back to the doctors yesterday as well and I have now been given antibiotics. Hopefully they'll help because I'm dying here and I'm due back at work a week on Thursday!!! Anyway, I'm going to use my alone time constructively to try and get stuff done. So here comes my to do list.
I have also managed to get Belle a place at another dog training class because we aren't going to be able to complete hers now. She should be there tonight but obviously she's not because she's not in Wales. It's a little disappointing but this next one is an 8 week course from start to finish. I've also convinced my FIL to come and do it with me, with his dog.Should be fun!!

My school got good results - best in its history so everyone is pretty happy. My department did well of course. I am in shock a bit though. One lad who is a G target is currently on for a C (he's moving into year 11 this year). He's a "naughty" boy and I'm one of the few teachers that actually teaches him that seems to have a decent relationship with him. I like him...he's a royal pain in the bum though and has issues coming out of his bottom.
I'm assuming (because he's not very able) that science must be his thing...he's far closer to his target grades in every other subject. I've decided actually it must be down to the teacher! Clearly it's because I'm ace!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just got my year 11 results through...it's a mixed bag but then the attendance and effort of a lot of them left a lot to be desired....so I'm happy enough! Feeling rotton still though. Right dog is walked and fed...she just needs some attention later on and then she's done with for the evening (how nice does that sound). Kitchen is tidy(ish), I just need to finish some washing up. I also need to sort the washing out but I don't see why that can't wait till tomorrow.
So the plan is to chill out watch trashy tv...hollyoaks on C4 then E4, then have tea, then settle down to watch Big Brother. I know it's rubbish but I'm home alone, feeling poo and need cheering up. Not to mention that my teeth are killing me (stupid wisdom teeth).
Tomorrow I plan to finish marking coursework and finish C1 lessons. If I get the chance I'll sort the zoo SOL as well. I want to get as much done as I can this week so I can do as little as possible next week until I go back on Thursday - if that makes sense! I really don't want the end of the month to come....but I'm so skint it's untrue. I NEED MONEY!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

The holiday seems to have gone by really quickly. Doesn't seem two minutes ago since earthgirl and courgette where fighting till the end of term.
Sounds like you got good results with some kids. I always loved that when someone you really invested your time in does well. Although there was usually a disappointment too when kids underachieved and didn't care. Glad your school has done well.
I know you want to get a lot done, but please relax too as you want the illness to disappear before the start of term. Hope Belle's new classes suit you better.0 -
I am relaxing. I literally have nothing to do and I can't cope with daytime tv...so computer based faffing is the way forward. That and Belle cuddles.
Thanks for your concern honey. But I don't know what else to do. :rotfl:
Just waiting up for my darling DH to return. I watched BB and I am really let down by who they have put into ultimate BB...RUBBISH.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I can't cope with daytime tv
It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one who can't cope with daytime tv!I go crazy when I'm stuck in and always end up organising random cupboards!

Right I've lookd at my year 11 classes to do some analysis of the results.
My Core class:
9 underachieved (I was expecting more to be honest).
8 hit their target grade.
10 beat their target grade.
My additional class:
7 underachieved (Again, I was expecting more to be honest).
7 hit their target grade.
7 beat their target grade.
The ones that underachieved either were put on early study leave (behavioural problems) or rarely attended. Several were kids I'd been in close contact with parents etc as well so we were expecting it. I don't think those results are that bad then all things considered. I'm looking forward to having a look at my year 10 ones. I'm fully expecting those to be worse though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
