Harry is back home and rather groggy. We ended up having to give her a wiff of anestetic. So she's being all dopey and cute.

Cost £10 to get her sorted but she's worth it. Could have been a fiver less if I held her in place, but she would have gotten pretty stressed. So Vet recommended the anestetic. She's an old lady now so I don't wanna upset her.

The downside is, the vet said the bad tooth might grow back again within 6 weeks. Fingers crossed that it decides to come back normally this time. Right, time to crack on with the kitchen and hang out the 3rd lot of washing for the week.

OMG...the shower enclosure and wall bits for round the shower is coming to about 1.5K! And we STILL need to decide on an actual shower to go in it! That is madness!

Got my hair cut today as a treat to myself. Yey me! It's all short again. I feel really sleepy and not with it today. It's not good. I'm not poorly, and I've not exactly got a lot on so I can't quite figure it out.

Anyway, I got my timetable from school. 19 lessons a week with at least 1 free everyday. So thats quite good. Yey.

I want an allotment. Unfortunately where I live the waiting list is rather LONG! I just think as well as being a useful money saving source of growing food, it would provide exercise on the cheap too!

I'd do something in the garden but I've never had one, so I'm looking into doing a tub type veg growing garden. I could do that in my back yard. Hmmm...we shall see.

Well thats put a stop to that. Andy just had a proper chuckle at my expense and called me stupid for thinking about growing stuff. He reckons we don't have nearly enough time to be thinking about it.

Fine, but there was no need for him to laugh in my face. It's quite upset me. I realise that work is going to be very full on but I would like a hobby. A constructive hobby. Hmmmm....suggestions please.

You don't need a lot of time to have a small veg garden, honestly we left our potatoes from the old patch and have loads of great spuds. There will be a bit of time needed to plant seeds and then seperate the seedlings and a bit of tending but otherwise I think you should go for it.

You should see some of the pics on the gardening board, there are small veg gardens and big ones too so don't give up just yet.

Well I only have a small yard. I don't have the first clue what to do either.

There's some great advice over there, but also check out tips on the web from different sites. Have a look at what can be planted at this time of year e.g. potatoes for late in the season, mine are in pots this year so easier to manage.

I'm a rubbish gardener but last year we grew potatoes, onions and garlic with little effort.
