Yeah I have a job lined up for September, but as long as I make an effort to apply for stuff it's not my fault if no one will give me a job for 8 weeks. So hopefully I'll be able to get something. I'm ringing after I finish my brew so I will update.

    I'm trained in secondary science.

I know what you mean. I need to re-go through the stuff I did decide to keep in a bid to reorganise files etc.....nightmare!!

Rang the JSA folks and just because I have a job in September doesn't count me out of claiming. Other stuff might, but that doesnt provided I will actively look for employment during the summer.

So I spent AGES on the phone with a lovely lady taking all my details....if you call make sure you have a brew to hand ready.

Now I have an appointment at my local job centre on Friday morning next week to try and go through and confirm everything. Hopefully, then I'll receive some money. Ideally I'd have a job but I didn't have time to look when I was doing SATs marking AND finishing course. Then I was preoccupied with school.

So, hopefully I'll get it all sorted.

Still, I demolished all the good work I did yesterday tidying in one swift motion trying to find all the crap I had to go through for the call. Phew! I need paying just for the hard work of finding everything....lol.

Well that sounds hopeful. I'll give them a call on Monday. I wonder if it will be different for us as we have a child and H2B is working. We claim tax credits but only get a tenner a week

It's my birthday today and as per I'm doing nothing. My OH had planned to take me out for the day, but as it's 2.30pm and he's just gone to Sainsbury's I'm presuming thats not happening. Mind you, at least I'm going out for my tea!!

AND my family sent me cards this year!!! They remembered! Woop woop!! So thats made my day really. Still, it's not really the same when your not a kid anymore. I was well chuffed my nephew picked a funny card, wrote it out himself and sent it seperate from his mum and dad though. I'm keeping that one, it's the first one I've got off him on his own. I think it's with him being a teenager now, he's taking being more grown up seriously!! Ha ha.

Anyway, I'm not checking banks or anything today. There is washing to hand out and washing up to be done, but I'm waiting to see if my hubby moans at me or not for not doing it. Or if he's going to let me be lazy for my birthday.

No card or present of him yet either, so I think the meal might be my present. Still at least his birthday (December) is sorted. I sorted it in April! Taking him to see a comedy show, might get a hotel so he can have a drink too and spend the whole day out doing stuff then! We shall see!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Cheers folks. He didn't moan. And he took me out for tea, and got me a card. Then he took me to his folks and let me to sit on my own while he went to mess about with his brother! Ah well....

I'm trying to be constructive today, but I'm struggling!

This morning UPS came again to collect my scripts...I sent them back in JUNE!!!

Ok so I've managed to do some work. Hungout a wash and just put on another. Cleaned the kitchen, but will no doubt mess that up again shortly!

Printed out some resources for school for September....HOW GOOD AM I????
Also checked banks and did some house hunting (although we aren't moving...lol).

Also printed out my application form (completed) for my masters course. Yawn....more study! Still at least this would only be part time.

Just found out I'm off to Scotland on Wednesday to meet my OHs Aunt who he spent lots of time with when growing up. She lives in Scotland and has just been diagnosed with a terminal illness, so I'm going to meet her before it's too late.

Thursday is School and then Friday the job centre. So any jobs need doing tomorrow really. Doh!

Just got notification from the car insurance through that they've noted my changes. I rang the other day to tell them I'm a teacher now, rather than a student. According to Martin that can make a MASSIVE difference in your quote. Sooo, I figured since it's up for renewal at the end of the month I was being money saving!!!
