    Clean out Harriet

Just waiting for OH to come home with the car. Turns out I can't clean out Harry cos we have no bedding. So I need to go to pet shop. I also need to go to the supermarket too, so I can kill two birds there.

Not a bad day all in all and I've started doing lessons for B1 as well. They are just the resources and outline for now. Not gonna do anymore than that till a) I get my timetable, and b) its a little nearer the time in case things change.

Woo hoo....not a bad girl today afterall! :j

JSA folk rang me up to say they think I perhaps should be making a joint claim but no I shouldn't. So I still have my appointment in the morning so fingers crossed.

It's a pain in the bum. i defo won't get contributions based if I don't get income based because I haven't paid enough NI over the last 3 years. Argh....sooo stressed.

Ok so I'm a mummy again now. Went to the pet shop to buy a few things for Harry. However, my OH couldn't leave without a hamster. Apparently it was asking him to take it home...lol.

So, little George (she's female) has come home. Bless her, she's not stopped on her wheel since she came home. Very cute. But I felt bad so I got a few extra treats for Harry. So they both got a nice clean house (obviously, they have separate houses or George would be Harrys dinner) and lots of food and some new toys.

Fingers crossed we can get her to eat out of our hands tomorrow. We've just left her to it tonight and given Harry lots of cuddles.

Groovy name, so says the household where bestest ever little pet was Bill the girl hamster :o. Aw bless, she was so cute but dippy, would climb across bars with 2 paws, stop to scratch with 1 paw, then scratch with the other, forgetting that was what held her up there :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Ha ha ha....bless. Well this morning, George has made a MONSTER nest! Harry who normally does, hasn't bothered and is living inside a tube instead...ha ha.

Anyway, I can't claim JSA because OH is earning too much and I can't get Tax Credits cos he's not working enough hours! Hmmm.... So I'm poor unless I can get a job.

The good news is I don't have to go to school for the rest of summer which is a bonus. Purely because of the cost of the travel there. So I'm trying my best at moneysaving!! Fingers crossed I get somewhere.

And I'm researching the stuff we want for our bathroom....getting a new bathroom (but it'll be done over time). Getting shower soon though hopefully! New cubicle and tray and new shower too! And all the tiles round the shower will have to be new too because of the way the old one is built....so I FINALLY get to pick a new colour scheme!! The old one of mustard yellow is a bit gross.

The car insurance renewal quote came in today. £401.60. Which is £90 cheaper than any I've been able to find on the internet and £40 cheaper than what we paid last year. So I'm more than happy with that. Yey Admiral!

Also, George seems to be calming down slightly now and being a bit more interested in things rather than just being terrified...bless her cottons.

The OH has been up town this morning and swapped the upgrade on our account from his to the joint one. So we get AA breakdown cover, mobile phone insurance and card insurance amongst other things all in the joint account. Yey!

Right need to motivate him to get a wriggle on if we are to get our jobs done now!! He's on the internet which is never good with him!

Ok, so this weekend was as productive as I would have liked. However, we had a lovely day driving round looking for organic farm shops in the countryside yesterday (for OH dissertation). Then we stopped off at a costal place in the northwest called Knott End to take some photos. My OH wants to enter the countryfile photo comp.

Anyhoo, that ate into the weekend so I've not managed to get to much done.

Make meal plans for the week
    Food shopping
Tidy and remove waste from animal cages
    Check Harrys teeth
    [STRIKE]File invoices/bills etc[/STRIKE] Done
[STRIKE]Fold washes and put away[/STRIKE] Done
    Tidy Kitchen
    Tidy Bathroom
    [STRIKE]Wash clothes x 2[/STRIKE] Done
[STRIKE]Hang out washes to dry[/STRIKE] Done
    Print module 2 for C, P [STRIKE]and B[/STRIKE]. Printing B2 as we speak
    [STRIKE]File module C1[/STRIKE] Done
Go to bathroom place and order shower cubicle etc.
    Begin making resources for school
    Buy a box of paper
    [STRIKE]Activate online self assessment[/STRIKE] Done

I think thats it. Lots of little stupid stuff. Should keep me out of trouble anyway. I've sorted out all the bills etc already so I think I'm on target to be a good girl this week.

And the council have finally sent me a cheque for my wages with the correct name on. So I could pay that in tomorrow too! Yey!

Ok so it doesn't look a lot but what I've done has taken me most of the day! I'm waiting for the OH to come home in order to check Harrys teeth and start making George interact with us. After all, she is his baby. AND he has said he's going to take responsiblity for cleaning her out!!! Shock horror!

Also going to do the meal plans this evening too so that I can go and buy food tomorrow! Phew! I'm pooped! Kitchen may well yet get done too!

And to it. Ring vets and get Harry an appointment in order to get her teeth clipped. Ick.

Not looking forward to that AT all.
