Right, I'm in a stinking mood today. If you've been following my thread for a while you'll know how long I've been after a dog (or rather a pup) and the highs and lows of the female getting pregnant and then reabsorbing the pups.
Well, there are now actual pups...one to be exact. I'm desperate for this pup...I really am. But I don't think we'll be able to get it. I'm beside myself. We had it all worked out as well, dog walkers and dog sitters etc for when I'm at work. I'm really upset.
It's just money. Buying said dog, buying things for said dog, putting it in kennels when we go away for 2 weeks at christmas (which is also a bit mean with it being so young). I'm heart broken. Not to mention the dog couldn't go down to DH's flat because he's not allowed dogs. Now if we were living together down in Wales we could move somewhere that did allow dogs and it would be fine. I'm gutted.
Therefore I'm in a terrible mood. I could have been a puppy mummy by the 12th June.
Anyway, DH has gone climbing and to the gym (I've got a headache and am knackered (thanks to neighbours having a party into the early hours) so didn't go. I'm going to focus on cleaning the house instead. I've also signed up for 3 burger jobs. I can't seem to find anything else round me.
I'm feeling better about the job situation now though which is a bonus...although I did apply for one closer to home yesterday as well.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I've done nothing of actual consequence today. I have cleaned various places in around the house etc but nothing major. I've also done the washing I wanted to get done.
Importantly though...I've done no school work this weekend. JUST what the doctor ordered I think.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right, I'm pooped. Was up at 5 am to drive DH down to Lymm services to meet up with the guys that were picking him up to get to a conference they were going to. I ended up at work by 7.30 am. Yawn.
Anyway, as a result of that, his MRI scan yesterday and taking the inlaws dog on a LONG walk on Monday I've not managed to go to the gym yet this week. I'm intending on going tomorrow though! Then hopefully Saturday and Monday...but we are doing lots of work around the house so maybe not.
The said work has taken on a new sense of urgency....I've been away for a few days because I've spent my evenings with DH working out a way to get the wee puppy. And we think we've cracked it!!!
I'm over the moon! I can't stop. I've wanted a dog since my (parents) dog died about 10 years ago (I miss that dog so much he was amazing) but haven't been in a position to have one...so we quite often kidnap other peoples. I'm so pleased we can now. DH's landlord said he'll think about changing the terms of his contract as well!!
We've been ummming and ahhhhhhing and talking things through with each other and the lady that owns the pups. Family are more than willing to step in and friends are as well - most want dogs but don't quite have the support we've got in order to have one.
The pup wouldn't be ready to leave mum till June so we've got a bit of time. Going to visit them in mid-May (I'm so excited). I can't believe that after all this time it might actually happen.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh and looking at the timetables for next year it looks as though I may well be getting given Chemistry as a specialism. It's quite exciting...I've not had the opportunity to specialise before....I've always taught everything. ALL my year 11 lessons are 5th period though...:( It's a bit worrying thinking in terms of exam results.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I have had that before where all my chemistry lessons were p5, Mon, wed and thur. It wasn't so bad on the Monday but by Wednesday my kids just did not give a monkies. Horrible. All one class or do you have to teach more than one group? I'm sure it is one of them things that will be bearable if not ideal. At least you can do some fun experiments.Keep them motivated.
Great news about the pup. My sister had to give away her pup a couple of months ago and i was gutted as i loved that little scruff pup. REalistically even though i am at home all day it wouldn't have worked as the kids are small and wouldn't have left it alone, and also the cats would have hated it, but i sulked for about a week. The early week ones are one group and the double 4 and 5 on a friday afternoon are one group. I have enough trouble with this group period 4 and 5 on a tuesday now. They are a really difficult group!!
Still, when year 11 leave I will be rewarded. Ha ha.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
