I wanna be mortgage free!

Went to the zoo and had an awesome day...my group were FANTASTIC! A right bunch of little stars!
I was so proud of them. I am super tired though. I must have counted to 16 more today than I ever have in my entire life!
I came home and went straight to vote though. I'm a bit worried about plans for the teaching profession by those that get in though....on the whole...not good! It's really quite frightening.
I obviously didn't go for that job interview and have not heard anything since I told them...so I'm assuming thats a job thats gone out of the window then. Doh! Ah well, must mean it wasn't meant to be then. Also clearly haven't got an interview for the Wales job either....bit gutting but again....must be something else just waiting for me.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Was that your 1st trip in charge Twinklie? I used to end up planning quite a few. My 1st one was as an NQT. I never used to mind though as i got to go on a fair few too. My favourite was Drax power station, but we also did the coca cola factory at Wakefield and that was fairly cool.
I agree with the voting thing. I am terrified that if the government changes the rates will shoot up and they will also stop tax credits and i will end up in debt.
Even scarier, DH voted just after 7. He overheard the staff talking and they had only had 500 people vote up till then. He wasn't sure if that included postal votes. Mad. The BNP gained seats in Yorkshire last time and that would be a complete waste if that happened. I felt so guilty as we hadn't voted that time.
I guess what will be will be, and at least we have tried.
I bet you are shattered tonight. At least its only one more day to the weekend again.0 -
Yup absolutely pooped! And yeah it was my first in charge.
Hmmm....my DH hasn't voted because he found out yesterday he had to go on a course he didn't know about...so there was no time to sort out voting by proxy or anything. DOH! It fightens me that people would rather not vote and let random folks gain seats. I'm chosing my words carefully because I live in an area where people would put your windows through for saying certain things about certain political parties.
I make it a rule to express no opinion either way....just in case anyone figures out who I am on here. Sounds silly but believe me there are some scary scary people about.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Well another week is done and dusted! :j Not long now till I'm rid of year 11! I'm so excited. I'm leading a meeting in my department on Wednesday and then I'm fully booked for parents evening on Thursday! NIGHTMARE!
It's going to be a long old week. But I get to go and visit the puppy at the end of it!So that will make it all worthwhile! I should be at uni this weekend but I haven't heard anything to say it's still on so I'm a bit worried that I've got it wrong. I don't fancy driving 40 minutes on a Saturday morning to get there and it not be on! Hmm....decisions.

Just checked my credit history and found there are a couple of open accounts that I hadn't realised so writing letters to cancel them is now a top priority as well. So I better add that to the list.
