Right a very productive evening all in all. Managed to list 13 books on ebay but I doubt they'll sell. Ah well, at least it's free listings. :D

DH has been busy as well getting VERY organised and busy in the shed....good boy that he is. Brownie points going his way right now! :D

Yeah...it is that time of year where people start taking stock and organising isn't it! :D

A mixed day for me. That job is readvertising because they decided not to appoint...so they contacted me to see if I wanted my application reconsidering. I said yes. But then the nurse called me and said I need a repeat smear. Doh! I'm a bit bothered I'm going to have to go and get my blood vessels on my cervix cauterized. She suggested if it happens again thats what would have to happen. :(

There is also a KS3 science co-ordinator job going at a school near me. I wonder if I'd be in with a shout or not...hmmm. To apply or not to. I suppose you don't get if you don't ask. The problem is I can't be bothered filling out any more application forms and I don't want to have to have an interview! Ha ha.

Mixed bag again from me I'm afraid. DH may have found somewhere to move that will allow dogs (handy given our puppy will be here by the summer holidays!!!). It's at a friend from works house. She's moving up to Liverpool with her partner but doesn't want to sell her house because of the market. So he has the option to move in with her as a lodger initially (said she doesn't mind me and puppy there either), then get the house to himself at some point over summer when she goes.

He's going to view it later in the week and make his decision based on what she would charge etc and what the terms of the contract would be. Could save us a fortune...which is good given that someone basically said to him that he IS going to lose his DJing job....just a matter of when.

This new place is also a house with a garden rather than a second floor flat (not ideal)! Fingers crossed it all works out.

I've also done my good deed for the day and called the police about my elderly neighbour....turns out he's in hospital but I feel better for having done it. Was terrified he was slumped over somewhere in his house.

That job that I have been allowed to reapply for has totally changed what it appears to be asking for....it now describes me to a tea!!!! Closing date isn't until the 26th though and interviews would be Friday 28th! NIGHTMARE. That's the day after year 11 leave and I'm not teaching that day (I have a student period 1 and year 11 and my 2 frees).

I'm being all presumptuous now in assuming I'll get an interview. :rotfl:

No, nothing up for grabs near DH. This one is near home...which in a random way works out better because of the puppy.
