I am in love with my Panasonic breadmaker

I use the pizza dough recipe and like it. As I said in another post, I find it even more successful after the dough has been a day or two in the fridge. I use the quantity to make 2 pizzas and I always remove my rings and oil my hands well before taking it out of the breadmaker and then again after its risen and I'm about to use it. I go for thin crust and I don't roll it, only pull it with my hands and press it into shape (which can be a bit messy).0

I have been quietly in love with my Panny for about 3 years now. We never buy bread any more, and OH has really nice sarnies daily. I've just discovered something good, but difficult: Lakeland do bread flours which struck me as REALLY wasteful as they come from Oz (bad for carbon footprint etc) but I was given a packet of their (?)Laucke's Soy and linseed flour. I didn't fancy it a lot, but used it one day when I'd run out of white flour and was wanting to make a half white, half wholemeal loaf which I use for his sarnies. I ignored the Lauckes instructions and just used the flour as if it was ordinary white flour. It made a really brilliant loaf, the one packet was enough for a couple of loaves. Now I am very torn - I don't want to buy flour from Oz as I think that's not at all OS, so am going to have to try to add my own stuff to my ordinary white flour. But I have to say I'm sorely tempted to buy some of this stuff as the loaf was really tasty - all bouncy and big, with nice little seedy bits in, soft not toothbreakers. Oh dear, and HUmmmmmm0

I bought my Panny about a month ago.I did lots of research beforehand and the general opinion seemed to be that it was the best,so I decided to go for it.
I did wonder if it was going to be another of those gadgets that get used a couple of times and then put away in the back of the cupboard, but I have to say I love it.It is one of the best things I have ever bought.
Every loaf I have made has been perfect and although I am eating a lot more bread than I used to,because it is so delicious,at least I know it is healthier with no additives.0 -
I have the Panasonic 253 and really love it! The white bread makes fantastic toast - has anyone noticed that you need more butter to spread on this bread because it just soaks it up like a sponge! Very yummy though! I have only used the nut dispenser once but I must admit that I prefer to know the machine is getting on with it rather than having to keep my eye on it to put the fruit or nuts in!
I make a farmhouse loaf too which has white flour, wholemeal flour, flour with bits in and honey and it is gorgeous! Its lovely and moist and makes fantastic sandwiches and really goes with cheese! I can't seem to stop making banana bread either - delicious!
Can anyone recommend to me which loaf is the most like toasted teacakes. I love the cinnamony taste and the melted butter - yum!0 -
i did the french loaf yesterday beautiful it was even though it took six hours it was worth it and toasted its the best i have done in the panny. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

I haven't tried teacakes, hopefully someone will come along and give us a recipe. No doubt it'll need lashings of butter too LOL!
