Grrrrr been really struggling again today, summat about this hot weather

Didn't cave in though, even though I went in to Somerfields to price up the non-alch version and saw the rows and rows and rows of potentially cold beer. Didn't bother with the non-alch either when I saw the price, stuck with another 12 cans of lilt  (of which I've already drunk 6 :undecided)

you and I ( and the rest of this thread) know there are FAR worse things to drink than lilt!

    well done!

I wouldn't go near the non-alcoholic versions personally - stick to the clear line drawn by the lilt...

    take care!!!

I couldn't drink the non alcoholic drinks either. I would just be frustrated that they hadn't got alcohol in them. I either drink or not. Keep buying pepsi cola from my local CoOp because its 12 for the price of 6. Still finding it hard to keep away from the Malibu though.:o

Well done everyone- esp.Jo- lilt not guilt as they say-I tried the non-alcoholic drinks once (kaliber) and they gave me a terrible headache so I stuck to diet coke (gave me a terrible, but cheaper, headache). I don't know why but I just don't seem to be able to 'do' hots drinks after midday and only a long cold drink will do.

Best of luck to everyone today- welcome back and welcome to new posters-thanks

    Morning all

Day 6, woohoo, nearly a week  :D

I've decided, I'm loving the days being sober but absolutely hating the evenings, they are far too long and although I've got so much to do, I can't stand thinking about drinking. I know this will fade eventually cos I remember from before, I just hope it hurries up. I don't mind thinking about drinking or not drinking rather, but I can't stand the emptiness. It's like I've had a mate round for tea every night for the last 15 years and suddenly they've upped and left and I'm sat here by myself :(

Don't get me wrong, I am proud of myself, I even want to shout it out to everyone how well I've done this week, just not looking forward to another evening of emptiness..

On the upside, I've not had any bad withdrawals and amazingly my stomach has not been too affected this time which is what I was really worrying about. Usually the trapped wind is too much to bear by day 3 and I cave.

Sorry for the downer post, hope everyone's okay today?
