for anyone who wants to watch a hard-hitting film about alcohol....it's not pleasant but striking. I first watched it and shrugged and thought I don't drink too much....I changed my mind a little bit later.

    Thanks Bismarck,

I'll have to wait till I get home to watch.

Just picked up my pills, but the pharmacist warned me to be careful of drowsiness, so what time should I take one do you reckon? I finish work at 4pm and usually get round 5 after I've done the Tesco trek. I need to make sure they have kicked in before I get home though to avoid the 'passing the offy' trauma, but don't want to fall asleep behind the wheel  ??

    You're welcome...

Was undecided about posting it but if it helps anyone at all, or a friend of anyone then it's worth it....

As an aside, I started reading Geoff Thompson's books back in 2001 after he did a column in Mens Fitness....then I got a couple of books on positive thinking and I even phoned him up at his business and got straight through to him......awesomely straight bloke...humble as anything....

I'd suggest that you drive home a different way but don't take the pills until you get home...just in case.

Remember that we are thinking about you when you are driving home and willing you not to go in to the off-licence.

good luck...may the force of MSE be with you!

Like Bismarck says, go a different way. Take 5 minutes longer to get home. Just today.
