    Well, didn`t fall - jumped!

I made a consous(sp) decision to have a drink last night. I actually wanted it, not habit, not boredom, not even (I dont think) a craving.

I drank 3 cans & went to bed, I know it wasnt a craving, as I thought about the wine, but decided not too. Before it would have been a given that I would have had the wine too, plus the 6 bottles of stella I found in the shed, yesterday, after my bank holiday bonfire!

    So its
    day 8/31, and
wine day 4/ stella day 10!

Hen appeared soon after posting...little stopout!

The other hens were very cross - either at her for making them worry or because they were shut in and she wasn't!

Good that you're feeling positive...re getting weighed, Mrs B was under the impression that if I stopped drinking the weight would fall off...I replaced it to a point with a new found appetite for cheese, pizza, curry and mayo....so the scales didn't shift much...that will come in time

Just need to ask, how did you feel after the cans...did you really enjoy them.

Well done for posting though!! In your situation, this time last year I could have gone through the lot and at about teatime be thinking about stocking up again.

  • Good Morning
    Day 19

No hens to worry about here.......................but can sooooooooo relate to the fact that my weight ain't shifting..................I'm afraid it's developing tentacles and suckers and clinging frantically and menacingly around my person!! Ggrrrrrrrrr !!

A box of wine arrived last week....................my 3 monthly order from virgin wines..............eek !! The last one came in January and it had gone within a week..................me and my sister glugged all 12 bottles over the course of 6/7 days.............bloody hell !!:eek::cool: This time round it sat in the lounge for 4 days untouched...............no cravings either !! I was dead proud of myself. It's now gone to my mum and dad's for distribution..............there's only so much testing one should put one self through :A alas! my angelic phases are neither longlasting nor entirley pure of thought !! :p

Hope all is well with everyone and that this warm, bright morning brings renewed hope and resolve for all of us. :T:T:j:T:T
  • Hi, All Planning to have a nice few hours out today with hubby, to take my mind off things. Tomorrow would have been my late father's birthday. Yesterday met up with a friend, who needed to chat about the death of her father 5 weeks ago. Pastors dad died saturday night and another friends pre maturely grandchild. Today have had to deal with dead family of mice, (had to put down a trap). Sniff sniff even the mice are dead:)
Oddly enough don't feel like drowning my sorrows, hopefully won't be reviewing that later;). Take care xx
