hi all- phew so much to catch up on !! well done to all of you not drinking... will read through all of the posts..

Had a great weekend, a couple of glasses of wine on Friday then decided to come home and watch a film instead of staying in the pub... was tempted though as it was my last day at work and felt like I needed to celebrate- then I thought actually I don't need loads of alcohol to celebrate- its the beginning of a new chapter...
Had a few at a friends BBQ on Sat but enough to stay in control unlike times of old !
looked at houses yesterday, me and OH have decided to buy together- scary !! Then last night went for an 8 mile walk- felt fantastic after that !!
Anyway, put an offer in on a house- no messing about- just waiting to hear if its been accepted. Can't afford to booze now !!!
Off to sit in the garden - hard work this not working !!!:cool:
